there are many ways to have pips with this system, so be pateint to read and find the correct indicators . All of the indicator was posted around here !

Price action & Trend Lines for 80 min + 1 hour before London open + Strong Buy on Samir = 300 pips x .2 lots

hazelj80,

you can "hard-wire" the suffix for a certain broker into the indicator. Save the indicator in the particular broker's MT4 > experts > indicator folder. Then open in MetaEditor. You'll see the extern (external inputs) near the top of the code. If you want something to be the same all the time, so you don't have to change it every time, change it once in the indicator saved in that broker's folder and (Re-)Compile (File menu > Compile). Now it's changed to work with that broker without having to do it manually every time.

Edit: Nevermind, I see you were talking about zznbrm's indicator and not one of mine.

example. citifx mt4 has GBP?JPYct so i should just be able to type in the ct in the parameters or _FX if it's Broco's ECN or a . (dot) it's fxopen etc

I know you dont want to spoon feed anybody, and I know you want us all to read the whole thread both julius own and this one.

I tell you I have been through the 2 threads, in fact I was there from the start, now I have a whole lot of indicators related to this strategy in my hard drive that I dont even know which is what and which does what, but I think you can simplify thinks for some of us a bit.

I know samir virtual trades indicator has replaced the IA that we used to open at weekly open, which is what got back my interest again in the strategy, and it has displaced t101 profitchart ex4 that used to give long strong / short strong or NONE signals

what is the name of this one in the picture, is it the same profitgraph from T101 julius thread, and can you point me to it so that we do same thing.

and one more thing the profitprotect ex4 I have from the julius thread is no longer working how did you get round that problem

every other thing about this strategy is very clear to me

Hi All,

I've had success - be it for a day doing this :

1. Looking at IA using Samirs Indicator - No major jumping pairs all day & Strong Long.

2. Verifying long on BuyAllPairs Indicator - using it as a price chart for the basket.

3. Taking trades.

Took about 500+ pips today. Its at resistance right now. Good time to go short I think. Might sit out of the market just to see it go.

Meanwhile, I havent had too much success getting the EA robot to work too well. I know banana has had awesome results.

BANANA :

what start time do you provide for each of the time frames. Also, I read a while back in the thread that both Open short & Open long cannot be set to true simultaneously. However your preset shows both turned on. Can you pls shed some light on this.

OTHERS :

Can others who have had success with the EA post some results.

What parameter? There is no parameter for suffix. As I have said many times, the suffix should be handled automatically by the indicator. Please do these tests:

1) Add the indicator to a chart using Citifx MT4. Are the symbols correct? If not, do you see any symbols at all? What are the error messages in the Experts and Journal tabs?

2) Add the indicator to a chart using Broco's ECN. Are the symbols correct? If not, do you see any symbols at all? What are the error messages in the Experts and Journal tabs?

3) Add the indicator to a chart using IBFX mini account MT4? Are the symbols correct? If not, do you see any symbols at all? What are the error messages in the Experts and Journal tabs?

I have tested the suffix logic on two brokers: MBTrading (no suffix) and IBFX Mini Account (m suffix). The indicator works fine for both. The indicator handles the suffix automatically for each.

as i said , we have to read from the beginning of this thread to know where is the indicator - and some explaination near that indicator , will explain how to use it.

about profitprotect ex4, we have to buy from Julius website , 5usd

ok, i wasn't getting you there. it doesn't work on citi or anybody with weird suffixes and it might be the way the handle trades too. i had a different but similar problem when i was doing renko charts. each broker is done differently. i'll just fix it for that broker myself. easy enough

Thanks for Trader 101 and Orest for overall idea.

I been here for about a years only as a silence reader..

I have few questions regarding the Orest Indicator.

1. Do we need to run the indicator at the beginning of the week like the excel file?

If yes, can we close the metatrader and reopen back the program later in the middle of the week? Because I notice there are some differences in the T value when I run on different broker.

Please Clarify.. Thanks for your help..

Here is what I get when running on citifx. Make sure you have enough history for each pair for the timeframe you are using.

now how come i didn't think of that!?

oh and hint to those coming in, go back and read what smjones was saying. that's the best setup I think. either use the IA, dashboard, buysvssells and whatever else he uses and you'll get it. but please do read to understand why and how it works.
