IGmarkets is a good broker...just wish they accepted Canadian clients again I was with them for about a year till they just shut down service to us Canadians...

I second that. About 4 monthly trades and you're good to go. Though, I'm on the US version, so no CFDs.

ichi360, do you find the prorealtime ichimoku indicator insufficient, since the cloud doesn't extend to the right?

I too have been on this one since 1.3374 and will not exit until kijun cross.

It has been a great help being on this board. The constant conversation on the rules has really encouraged me to be a lot more disciplined than I have in the past. And the system is very understandable, comprehensive, yet simple.

Well when i traded indices's and US stocks I was on tick and 1min charts so this 5min is like investing to me not trading ...lols

I feel im invloved when trading on the 5min like im part of the market..

It suites me..we have to find what were comfortable with

closed out with 56

so 3 trades

EURUSD:
Our first choice will be to go Short from Pivot Point @ or below 1.3400
Our Choice: Short positions @ or below 1.3400 with targets @ 1.3330, 1.3331, and 1.3290
However if we break above 1.3401 then a Long Position with 1.3430 & 1.3444 as target will be the trade for today


GBPUSD:
Our first choice will be to go Short from Pivot Point @ or below 1.4928
Our Choice: Short positions @ or below 1.4928 with targets @ 1.4888, 1.4844 & 1.4800
However if we break above 1.4941 then a Long Position with 1.4966 & 1.4981 as target will be the trade for today


USDJPY:
Our first choice will be to go Long from Pivot Point @ or above 92.00
Our Choice: Long positions @ or above 92.10 with targets @ 92.47, 92.78 & 93.19
However if we break below 91.91 then a Short Position with 91.70 & 91.49 as target will be the trade for today

Hi

But in a strong trend I guess that wont happen

Ive marked 3 entries where other criteria line up and Ive placed a blue box around the CS where it was at the time.

As you can see it was above the cloud TS and KS in all cases

Quite a nice entry and with the stop defined as close below the blue KS line small risk on all 3.

The initial 1st signal would of exited at point A for 25 pips

Im now wait for the TS to come above the KS

I Hope im not moving away from the trade principles of this great ind and will do some reading up on it again over the week end

TS > KS
CS is bullish
Future Kumo is bullish

Vic, Asher, i have a problem with the ICHI V3 on the MT4... not showing anything, just a little tag on bottom right, nothing to be seen though. any advise ?

Ive just read that...

'A buy signal is generated when the Tenkan-sen intersects the Kijun-sen from below (Strong if above Kumo, normal if within Kumo, weak if below Kumo).'

so signals above the cloud with all other parameters met indicates a stronger signal

Also

The Chikou span can be used to determine the strength of a buy or sell signal. Strength is shown to be with the sellers if the Chikou Span is below the current price. Strength is shown to be with the buyers when the opposite is true.

So a signal with the CS above the price is showing strenght

Sorry to post whats been posted before..just helps me to understand if I write it down
