HI

I had couple of pms asking the same. Generally defaults, with exception of:
H4.
No pending orders.
Full candle FALSE.

In testing 5min momo was not doing well, however, i did not think to test it in H1 as Steve did. I do sincerely hope that we can all make a bundle with this EA. Maybe the way markets are bahving at present are ripe for this EA and it may not last for ever, but lets enjoy it while it lasts. Speaking for myself if another 2 weeks of the same I will use it with bigger account and bigger lots.

I don't know if I can ask this but as we are all keen on BS trading strategies in this thread, I'm just wondering if anyone uses BK Forex in real trading ?

Not yet. My accounts are too small to justify the expense. They will be soon, but I am not sure I will need it by then, as I am building the accounts through my own trading.

I am liking these trading systems more and more. I love their simplicity. I had a deep mistrust of systems that required lots of pretty-coloured thingies lining up to trigger a trade, even before I began to make sense of the forex trading malarky. Actually, these systems would probably be successful, but most would require trading in the opposite direction to that intended by the designer, for obvious reasons.

It surprises not a jot me that experienced, successful professional traders such as scoobs, BK & KL trade such simple concepts.I am learning much from them.

I am automating the second trade setup in the BK/KL bood - the CCI do-the-right-thing system.

Next on the horizon is the system BK describes in his video at http://www.bkforexadvisors.com/boris...-pips-per-day/ - 'How to pick tops and bottoms properly'. This one looks like fun and is a prime candidate for automation.

Yes my accounts are too small to justify the expense at present. When I first got interested in the forex market about 2 years ago, BS & KL were big on my study material mainly from Investopedia.

I still like the strategies but the automation of some of them is like a breath of fresh air. They work in real trading so hopefully replicating them through a robot with reliability will be possible, only time will tell. You certainly seem to be making great progress in that direction, long may it continue.

Just a quickie. In the pdf download from BK most of the charts shown are 5 min so is this the T/F you intended to load the Ea on ? I couldn't find any specific post saying which T/F you had favoured so thought I'd ask before wasting trading time.

Yes, i have been with BK forex advisor for over 2 years and have just paid for a 3rd year.

It makes no difference. The robot works on the H1 tf and ignores the chart you have it loaded on.

Iīm testing 2 sma macd combo robot. Market order is easy to understand, order is send when the trading conditions is met. But Iīm not sure I understand pending orders.
On one robot I have both market and trending orders=true. I guessed that robot will send both orders the same time but pending with 10 pips buffer but it seems not to work so.

Market condition met: Pending order sent with 10 pips "buffer"?
Pending order sent 10 pips before market order is met?

Anybody can explain exact how the two order types work. I have read the Pdf instructions and the first page (and the thread)

I found a bug in the 5mm multi-pair. I coded the 4 digit criminal adjustment to divide the MaxSpread by 10 twice - I discovered this after the bot took no trades on my live eglobal account either on Friday or overnight today.

This is an essential re-download if you plan using a 4 digit crim.

I have coded the 'Cci do the right thing' robot; I will put it up after a bit of debugging.

Hi folks,
did somebody get some trades today? I donīt know why but I didnīt get any (same settings as astral). Itīs strange because with the previous version I directly got some trades on friday but none with the newest. On 1 h chart it opens directly orders but on 4 h chart it didnīt do anything so far (since London open). Same by you?

do you think a "sleepaftertradecloses"-function will be good? Today I got many many trades (positive) because it opened trade after trade. But now I have a large DD (yen pairs) and some SL hits which destroyed the profit. Itīs just a suggestion. What do you think?

Everything is OK. I did not get any trades either. Do not forget things are a bit slower on H4. The Robot is doing fine, since the conditions were not in place for it to place an order. It is a good idea to have the charts and check the conditions yourself as well (I think steve provided a tpl file for this). You need true MACD indicator as well.

Done, and uploaded to post 1.

A bug emerged today in both the 5mm and 2 mamacd multi-pair bots. Previously, the robot counted the number of open trades before going into the loop that looked for further trading opportunities.

It is possible to end up with more than MaxTrades because the robots send the trades without further reference to the number of open trades.

Fixes for this are in post 1; these re-downloads are essential.

Help Steve, I've loaded the fixed MA MACD Multi pair and 5Min MoMo Multi pair on 2 separate demo's and I've got your message ' Trading disabled by the criminal pillock. Please wait for him to get out of bed ' What's all that about ?

I reloaded the previous version which was running OK and I'm getting the same message now.

My other 2 demo's are running OK, 1 with Standard MA MACD on 2 pairs and Standard 5 Min MoMo on 2 pairs and Scooby BOJ the other with Asian Breakout again appears OK.

Do you or anybody tell me what's the story ??

I don't think so. The hours are the same as before i.e 24 hrs round the clock.
Anyone else with an answer ?
