I am new to THV system, and I have to say I love it!
This is what my understanding is, correct me if I am wrong.

btw, I mainly trade on M5 of EU.

Only look for long if all of the following meet:
1. price above coral
2. fast Trix crosses slow, both of them with green color.
3. potential entrt is not too close to the R/S.

questions:
1. how do we use the trading signal triggered by trix divergence?
2. take M5 as example, if we have a valid trading signal, should we go down to M1?
3. What's the general profit target?

Hello wonderful FX people, I would like to just introduce myself and thank all the great people here before me. This is my first post, I have been reading and following this thread and thought it might be a little rude to use the Cobra’s and other traders systems, indicators, and EAs without saying a word of thanks. I am a novice, I have lost a little bit of money (lucky me), I am on demo using Sellers9 EA which I love, and have faith that the system works and I take full responsibility as the learner who needs to improve when it doesn’t. I would have given up if it were not for such great teachers here, your time, effort, willingness to share …. thank you so much, you make the journey easier. To me you guys are already successful, because life is about money and time (and other things), how much of it you give greatly reflects your character. Hopefully one day I can give back also, but for now I will be the quiet learner. Cheers.

Here are my 2 trades for this morning on the EURUSD pair.
Alert settings:
M5 = F-trix
M15 = Cloud, F-trix, S-trix, X-trix
M60 = F-trix
Stochastics = M15, 8,3,3
I have also included the latest zip with a M15 template and the settings file, also the indicators if you don't have them. Adjust your settings as needed.
Check over the pdf as I have made a few changes to the alert.
This will probably be the last update for a while.
If anyone is using it please post your results.

Hi,

Thanks for taking the time to make this alarm EA. I am having trouble getting it to work, however:

1) Ichimoku cloud looks weird (see attached)
2) I am getting alarms within seconds of each other, even after setting the wait time to 15 minutes
3) I am getting the message "PA crossing coral from above!" many times, even when EAs are turned off? This only started once I added the alert EA, and I don't understand why this is happening even when the EA is off

My settings right now are simply 5 min fast trix and coral set to TRUE, nothing else. Any help is appreciated!

Found a minor bug in the stochastics alert, I forgot to enter the line of code for the Long when stochastics was above the zero line. I went throught the code line by line and couldn't find any other errors, so hopefully all is good.
I also added a wait delay between alarms which you can set by entering the number of minutes you want to wait between alerts. This should stop the alert from going off one after the other. I haven't had time to test it yet as it looks at the Brokers clock time in MT4, and that doesn't change on the weekends so I can't...

i've downloaded and parked on the MT4, however i amnot able to get the vertical red line which separating the CS, candle stick and the various TF. How to solve this?

You have the wrong Ichimoku I believe, the one in the zip file is the one the EA calls to get its information, but the one you want on your chart is the other one in the indicators folder I believe. I am not at my computer right now so I can't check it out but will when I get Home this evening. I see you are using version 12, I have attached version 14, try it. All the indicators are included and also a template, try it. Be sure to set AlarmSleep to "true" if you want the time delay between alerts from the EA. The PA crossing alert is not comming from the EA, there is no such alert in the EA. You must be getting alerts from the indicators you have attached. Try the template in the attached zip file to get you started, check the AlarmSleep as it may be off in this template, this template is used on the M15 chart, tweak it to what you like. Version 14 also has the News Alert added if you want to use it.

You will notice the settings are a little different this time but I am still on the M15 time frame and trying different settings. I did the chart a little different this time and did some information on it with a paint program. So this chart is not taken at the time of the trades.

What is your broker time zone and what time settings do you use in TzPivots indi?
(HrsServerTzFromGMT and HrsChoiseTzFromGMT)
And "EurBegin/End" in i-Sessions?

Hi Seller,
I have noticed that the indicator lamps freezeup and do not give realtime indication. I change to higher or a lower time frame and then switch back to my 15M TF (my working TF) to refresh the alarm lamps. Is there some thing wrong with my setting or is it supposed to work like this.
As of now I am not getting a positive result on the signals, though I am placing the trade after checking the major S&R lines. Could be the timing as I trade EU, GU, EJ during the Asian session and 1st 2 hrs of London session. Will observe more and revert.

That indie is just a series of calls to the trix itself and then tests to
see if the previous value for signal line or trix line is greater than or less than the current one. You are better off just calling the trix with icustom rather than the histogram - it will be a lot simpler. You can find examples of how to call the trix and and test the values in the THV T3 Trix MTFv1.5w..mq4 code posted in the thread.

This thread caught my eye. Why it is so big? Is this strategy really profitable so much as it deserves the tread to be so long. Can anybody who is active participator please review its popularity?

I have added the Traders Dynamic Index to the Alert, I haven't had time to test it yet but if you want you can give it a try. To find out how the TDI works just Google it, I have it set for the standard settings that seem to work the best. You can set the time frame to something other than what the chart time frame is in the settings. It will only give an alert on a strong buy or strong sell. In the upper left corner of the chart it does show the other possible TDI states under the TDI: caption. There are 13 possible states that can be shown in up to 4 rows.
(2) Reversals
(1) Consolidation
(4) Trend
(6) Strong Buy, Medium Buy, Weak Buy, Strong Sell, Medium Sell, Weak Sell

You need to have the "Traders_Dynamic_Index" in your indicator folder for it to work, a copy is in the zip file. I will be checking it out this week to see if it is of any use.

Edit: One thing I forgot to mention, even if you have TDI set to false it will still display results on the left side of the chart. Also, it "WILL ALWAYS" use the time frame you have in the settings regardless of the time frame of the chart you are viewing.

Edit: There were also a couple display bugs in the alert, I have uploaded the corrected version.

It's big because the method works, is free, and there is great support here.
