i guess we are resuming the downtrend. however there is a strong support at 1.3460. a break below this may take us lower to 1.3 to 1.29. A ts/ks cross in daily will support this view. i guess. lol. what do u think?

Well just wanted to say hello to everyone. I joined ForexFactory for this thread alone as it has intrigued me more than anything else has in recent memory.

I'm new to this (FOREX in general), I don't have a clue, I read the wiki, I hardly ever sleep, I'm hoping to learn from you masters, I just finished a bottle of wine, I may sleep tonight, I'd like a picture of vic_elk to hang on my wall for inspiration, I don't believe in sentence structure and most of all:

I wanna make me some pips!

AUD and CAD are the 2 strongest while NZD lags behind at times. So when something big comes out from Canada (like today) and it was good news (again like today) it will drive up CAD while AUD will falter. Thanks bros! That's what this thread is about - to help and learn from each other. Learning always continues, it doesn't matter, how much experience somebody has.

I was thinking about this EUR/AUD trade: Sometimes it might be better, to split the position, if the trade already had a nice run and gets into consolidation. In the future, I'll split at round numbers or if consolidation begins at S/R with at least 40-50 green pips (at least 2 R's) and the estimation, the trade will continue. If the trade continues I'll move the stop to BE. If the trade goes the wrong dircection and all signals are broken, I'll take the profit before BE to close the whole position. I'm sure, it will be an even better performance, but also I will create a sheet, to check which way of trade/moneymanagement works better.

Finally, my Trading Alerts Blog is up and running now and I need Traders who are willing to Test these Alerts / Signals (on Demo Account of course) for a period of at least 2 to 3 months. We’ll then try to come up with some Trading Results to see how did we perform if we have traded based on all the Alerts generated.


For this Testing, the blog at http://cfdalerts.wordpress.com/ will contain Trading Alerts for certain NASDAQ based CFD Shares and the timeframe is 240mn or 4H …


Before you guys come in and flood me with your questions on what MT4 you should use I thought to list few here where you can find a good list of CFD Shares:

The main Trading Alerts are generated on the basis of Kumo Breakouts but please keep in mind that not all the Breakouts are signalled but in fact only those which the system expects to generate good profits. You will also get some alerts based on Kijun-Sen breakouts and Tenkan-Sen / Kijun-Sen crossovers which will be more of a help to determine which way things appears to be going …

Please do not try these Alerts on Live Accounts, this is still in Testing phase and the objective is to test the accuracy of alert generation system

The basic idea is not only to test this auto alert generation system but also to develop your interest in CFD Trading, I’m sure this will give you an idea of how the CFD Trading works and what kind of Return on Investment you should expect.


If the project is successful, we’ll try adding more markets to this system … looking forward to your testing results.

hi ichi,I'll keep an eye on the alerts and test them but I still have no idea on how to post the charts as immages and not as attachemets.

vic-on the 5 min GU chart we have a full sell signal.the price is confirmed by all the rest of the timeframes.but my problem is where the heck to place the tp as I can see 2 supp lines on the 4h.one at 1.4947 and another one which is a strong one at 14869.

but then I just rememeber that monday is not good for GU and I still think wether to open it or not.....the risk in pips would be ok at the end but I still need an advice.

Hello everyone. I have been following this thread for a while now and I am pleased and surprised to have observed how active and informative the thread is. It has been about a while since i used ichimoku analysis in my trading strategy. I stopped using it because I didn't fully understand the meaning of it. Seeing all your posts I am gradually getting the hang of it. Keep up the good work guys and I hope I continue learning here as I try to contribute to this thread as a much as I can. Keep up to splendid work Vic_elc, Asher and everyone else.

Any advice for US-based followers?

I'd love to help, as I am getting so much from this coalition. But, I am under the impression that us States folk, dont have access to CFD trading.

Looking for guidance.

Hey guys,
hope you have a nice weekend. I've seen some of you planning to short the cable. Have a look on my chart, the area I coloured in white (particularly the last two weeks) doesn't look like a price consolidation any more. It is likely to be a building up of a medium to long-term uptrend. I think there will be a gap and the price may drop further down during Asian session but not that much. Looks like the perfect set up for London to buy the dip. So my advice is wait for London's session for confirmation on short or long.
