I suppose a possible explanation is that the single trader gets in first and is hogging the trading thread resources of the platform. By the time this thread is vacated (and only one can be open at any one time), the multi-pair bot is having to wait for the next tick, by when the trading conditions have changed.
Strictly speaking, we should only run one bot per platform. Unrealistic, especially when testing, but we should not be surprised at discrepancies.

By the way Steve, I notice on the 1st Post you have no robot raedy for live trading. I would like to propose 2SMA MACD. In 2 weeks of test it passed with flying colours and since 8th Of March I have it running on a dormant account I had with a Cyprus criminal, my balance was $135.00, so I loaded the 2SMA MACD on it with 7 USD charts 0.02 lots on TF of 4H. I am up $66 till today and going strong.

You are quite right . I had 2 BOTS (Charvos Holy Grail and Zoogles EMA) running on one platform all week. Zoogles full of trades, charvo`s NONE. I closed Zoogle around 2 hours ago adn surprise surprise Charvo`s started trading.

Because some people's hours will go through the 0/24 mark, and some people's will not. Hence sometimes you need || (there is a break) and othertimes you need a &&...
But the library adds another time layer. I can understand why Steve doesnt want to go that path.
I will just keep butchering/doctoring my own copy at each ver issue. Takes all of 5min or less (most times).

I would just like to say a big thanks to you guys here.
Ok, so I have done a lot of coding, but developing robots is about more than coding. Without your interest, the 2ma macd combo and 5mm would probably have spent the rest of their lives mouldering on my hard drive. There is only one of me, and I am prepared to ditch a robot within hours of it not looking as though it might be a runner; there is only so much testing that I can do.
Put bluntly, if I had a dollar for every trading system posited with exactly the same authority as those presented by BS and KL that I have seen, but have turned out to be rubbish then I would not be contributing here. After the BB robots turned out to be duffers, I was not coding the successive ones with any hope. Without your input, I would have abandoned them quickly.

Would it help to have the trading hours features I have added to other robots, such as the Monica Overkill?
I will just draw some pictures on a pad and work it out once & then add notes in the code for doing quick changes at each vers issue.

Done. It is rare for a robot to survive its first 2 weeks live trading, so things are looking good here.
Steve, is there a particular reason you are live testing the 5 mm. The results of the tests were not that impressive so I gave up on it.
For us (members of FF) you have been a heaven sent and we should be thanking you. In the last few months you have produced a large number of Robots covering a wide range of trading systems. We have let you down by not testing most of the EAs in a systematic and structured way. I think as far as systems and Robots are concerned it is very much a case of "horses for courses" and we need large volume of data in order to identify which horse is most suited to which course. Also it is strange how the same Robot behaves differently with different criminals. For instance as soon as I started testing the multipair version on forex.com and IBFx the former had one +ve trade and the latter had 3 -ve trades !!!!
I do hope we all can have many more profitable weeks using this ROBOT. As I mentioned before I have the EA on 7 USD pairs, 4H. For the first week I was running the mptm with it as well but I stopped doing that this week.
