I left my pending order and got badly burned when the GJ shot higher on supportive GBP news this morning...grrrr it's been one of those days! Lesson learned!

ouch! i always check my pending orders from time to time incase i need to remove them.....sorry about that LJ
had a sell pending on uchf @ 1.0575, sell audcad @ .9358...price got close on my orders but didnt trigger...when pa started to get ugly on the 4hr tf....i cancelled my orders
have some other orders sitting though .......lol
ill post some charts later, the patterns im watching are just developing

I was in a UCHF short from the 1HR BEOB...well still am, taking a while to get to the round number target but nearly there - would have had a pending order there too otherwise. It was just carelessness on my part...it didnt help my mood when I got slippage above my SL though!

well this was my thinking, not sure people would agree with me but here goes
usdchf has been really choppy for a while now...and based on my 4hr charts, the trend is down ....thats y i had those sell orders which werent triggered.
now on the daily, the short term trend is up....and we have our resistance, breakout, a couple of hooks which lead to sideways movement making that area very ugly to the eyes ....lol
my buy order hasnt been triggered yet as u can see...watching this one closely to know further actions to take
dnt worry about ur mishap, ull bounce back...u seem to be doing pretty well

usdcad 4hr tf.....firstly look at what the trend tells you then look for oppurtunities with the trend, thats what wmd's strategy is about i believe....countertrend trrades are the hardest imo simply because you would be going against a lot of people....not saying it cant work and all but its defiantely not the safest

wmd mentioned about using diagnal lines and reversal patterns. i've had pretty good success with it so far.

any way, heres what i'm looking at. note confluence of ltls from daily and 4h/1h timeframe. i've jumped in with small lot, and will add proper trade size if i see good reversal signal.

(there is also a cluster to the left on the daily so expect it should be good for bounces)

Yep that is a nice PPZ area to go long ... I thought about reversing and entering but decided against it...not for any specific reason though. If you scroll out slightly on the 4HR - looka t how symmetrical price has been from when price went a broke the 1.0500 for the first time back in Jan until now...I'm sure I've seen that pattern explained in the No brainer Thread somewhere hmmm.

Thanks, GJ mishap was one of those things its begind me now...I'm going ok taking the PA setups on dailies and lower time frames ok but struggling with the more advanced entry techniques of the likes of Rac, Trigger and Nasir...not making much sense to me at the moment and re-reading posts they are all quite mystical in their chart explanations lol...more reading and practice required to get up to this level.

i've gone with a hundred pip stop, but will close the trade if i get an hourly candle closing below 5170.

Not sure why you went long there? 1.5200 was the last break out area and that has already been tested?
have to say i love the title of this thread!

thats the thing about playing them aggressively....it cld trigger ur order & take u out, miss ur order by some pips, trigger ur order & tp etc
it definately did one of my predictions but not the one i wanted...
check ur 4hr usdchf can u see anything....ill post a chart soon if it plays out accordingly

Yeah it certianly does give you the confidence that you planned everything and it worked out as you planned...here is my current chart.
