This will be my first time experimenting with an EA. Lurked on FF for a long time, just signed in to check out things.
In the recent posts I saw different indicators, etc. for 3 people - stunna29, etc. Can you guys please link me to or attach what files you would suggest using from scratch?
I see the all attachments for this thread, but I want to get you guys advice on what you use and what to download, so I don't get any old files.
Much appreciated! And look forward to being active in this thread.

hi Poulos I Just subsribe to your post few days ago and by looking at all those post, I whish I was a register member long before, if I want to go trought all those posts, I will have weeks and months of reading so to make it short here are two simple questions.

1.- can you tell me where, on my metatrader4, do I have to save the files on this post and...

2.- after all the work and testing you've been doing on EA and indicators, what is working best for you up to this date so I can backtest it and give my opinion.

Hey Druggy don't get confuse with all the other indicator post here all you need is HG-0001A, HG-0001A-MTF AND TREND MAGIC..you can find these indi at the top right corner jus click on the paper clip,click on hide image and try page 4 and 5.Let me know if this work for you.Trade well.

You need to do some homework before you ask your "simple questions". There is no substitute for it and don't expect answers to basic questions. That goes for most threads on FF, not just this one. You will not be spoon fed.

Yes, we are all learning, but threads such as this can't function unless thee is a certain level of competence and understanding by the members.

Go to some of the newbie threads about MT4 and look there. Spend some time adding a few indicators to your charts, and some simple EAs.

Read, read read.

Well, I loaded everything up and wow, this is great!

I've attached my main MT4 screen keeping an eye on my main trading pairs.
I know this was designed for EUR/GPY but do you guys find this useful on other pairs?.. I did for sure, getting in on the EUR/JPY drop this morning from 124.625 and closing @ 123.610 for some mega pippage!!

Any tips you guys can give for reading the indicators? I see the MTF has M5, M15 - I have an idea of what I am seeing but can you guys just confirm?

Hey Druggy..hope you make some pips today..for me when using the MTF indi i always like to see a time frame up so i use 15,30,60..this system can be use with any pair but i focus on only two.Jus stay discipline to your rules and you will be fine .

I am working with this system for a while in my real account. I also use 1H timeframes. The result is impressive.
My trades might be minor but is enough for a newbie atm. Thx to all who evaluate this system. I wonder if there is version of HG_0001a_Hi_Sens with alert.

Not sure what happened to Tudor girl or why everyone went against her?
I see nothing wrong with this system other than some of the indicators re paint, and if you are aware of this issue it isnt so much of a problem anyway.

I would just like to offer my thanks to Paul and TG for putting in so much initial work and helping others. If there is a "private" forum I would very much like to be part of it.

Just found this thread, downloaded the basic indies as explained in the first page, did a trade on GBPUSD. Using 5M chart to enter, 1H and 1D chart to determine the general trend. I also used ATR(3) to determine the take profit (which was 22 points) position. I did not use a stop loss because I thought the signal is quite strong.

The result: closed the trade with 22 pips as set by ATR(3), into my pocket

Simple and easy to understand system even for beginner, I think

Might use it again in my next trade.

What you'll do when the signal gets wrong? This is NOT a holy-grail, and use this without some SL is strongly unrecommended and I think that is higway to hell! Yes, this system maybe (and is) good and profitable, with some modifications (someone trades it in its pure original setting), but ALWAYS need using some SL. Especially when you're a newbie. This is friendly hint, not a "buzeration", you may trade as you want, but don't cry when you burn your account.

I agree that there's no such thing as 'holy grail' in this world. The reason I didn't use a stop loss is because I clearly saw the trend is going up even with naked eyes. (why did I use these indies then?)

Today I did two trades, both were profitable, but this time I used 2% stop loss because I wasn't trading GBPUSD, which is quite 'stable' to my eyes, but USDJPY, which I wasn't quite familiar with its movement/behavior. I also added another indicator called CCFp to quickly check the strength of eight major currencies.

This system combined with CCFp indicator really works well for me.

Hello, to anyone who has tried this system with simulator before...

I backtests using vhands or trading simulator, however, i found that TudorGirl HG0001A MTF does not change for the M15 and M30 in 5 minute TF, may i know if anyone ever found a way to backtest using simulator with the M15 and M30 changes correctly like a real-life test?. I really appreciate for everyone's help. thx.

Is there an email alert for TrendMagic color change? can any of you guys please post it if you have it?

While decision making we use trendmagic + TG Verocity or trendmagic + HG_001a_MTF?

from your experience which indicator repaints? MTF indicator is meant to repaint by nature, but the trend magic line on the chart doesnt seem to repaint. Am i correct?
