I had the same problem of Rascacio. The problem is not the EA and I give you one guess as who is to blame. It is the CRIMINAL broker (surprise surprise) who has minimum pip requirement between the current price and SL and TP. On alpari demo some of them are as high as 30 to 40 pips. Therefore if the BOT wants to put a SL of say 15 pips then error 130 invalid stops occure. I suggest you try a different broker (forex.com, ibfx, fxdd, etc).

Thanks for your replies. I'm using 1 Hr TF Steve but it looks like Astral77 is on the button. I'll drop the EURCHF and see how we go. (Although thr Alpari spread is only 1.2 pips at the moment )

Yes, happens quite often on many EA's. If you just ignore this 'error' it goes away when the minimum pip requirement is met.

If you want to see extended error messages you can add OrderReliable_V1_1_0.mqh which has been posted earlier - only for coders as changes are needed.

I see profitable 2 ma macd multi-pair trades closing before being stopped out, so it looks as though the trade closure stuff is working as required.

Hi Steve,
After the last update, I could not get this bot to open a trade. I reloaded everything and finally gave up and moved it to another broker. After half a day of no trades, I reloaded everything again and checked all the paperwork to make sure I had all the correct indi's loaded......no trades. And finally it dawned on me that both my first two brokers were 4 digit crooks. So I unloaded an EA off one of my 5 digit crooks and reloaded the combo bot......10 min. later it took it's first trade.
If you get a chance see if you can prove me wrong on this.....I'd sure like to run this bot on a 4 digit crook....

See if this one works.

Alpari Demo.

OK me again. Last night 22.57 error 130 on MA MACD AUDJPY continuously up to 02.59 anyone else ?

This morning 07.27 error 130 again this time on EURGBP looked like a good entry but error continually and now also on GBPUSD. over 10 minutes of errors now. Anyone else ?

There were 2 trades opened in the wee hours - USDCAD & USDCHF.

Can ANYONE say they had the same or similar problems or trades ?

Both of this mornings trades looked spot on for the strategy but no trade made !!!

Yes i have had some of those problems on both the 1hr and 4 hr tF. I just removed the offending pair from the currency list.

This version solves the problem by aborting the error reporting when the error is the result of invalid stops. If you have the bot taking trades whenever the setup first appears, it will carry on trying to send the trade until the setup is no longer valid, but you will not know about it. This is much less of a problem if you have it set to trade only at the start of each new candle.

OK Steve. I'll try it out later. Since I posted earlier there has been 4 trades opened with no problems so I'll try setting the 'Only trade at new candle' to true and see if that helps.

You are most welcome, glad to have contributed something useful. It is funny how different criminals work. I have the multipair on IBFX and FOREX.com and the latter is doing better than former!!!!

STEVE kindly have a look at the idea behind the session based breakout strategy (as outlined in the document by BS and KL). The idea is quite simple, during the Tokyo session price movement has limited range due to low liquidity. when during London / Newyork session there is a price breakout (either News driven or Price driven) the likelyhood of continuation of the breakout is high. I am going to be cheeky and say this system is crying out for automation. BS recommends only 4 pairs. As you know I am not literate when it comes to coding but I think this should be very simple to code. What do you think?

I thought I was taking a bit of liberty asking you to consider coding this system, but I had a sneaking feeling that once you had seen the layout what would be direction your thoughts. BS states that this system would have many stop outs for small loss but occasional big winners.

I also have another sneaking feeling that you are aiming for the Record and listing in the GUINESS book of records for the highest number of FOREX ROBOTS coded by one person!
