The big question is: Does anyone think .9000 could now become support, so that we are now bullish on this pair?

I think I need to watch this pair for a few days to work out where it is going. Plus with all of the "default" news and speculation I think there will still be some volatility.

I may stick to scalping til we see what happens this week.

i think swissy has every chance for 0960.....euros sold broadly?....like to see EG bounce off 8962....its in corrective wave 4 now?

Hi archimede. I think we might be heading for the gap I have on my chart at .8945. Do others see that gap?

i see smikester......thats just under the 38% retracemt....one heck of an evening star-to-be on the daily...gotta be some retest of the TL ard 9033?

oh forgot to mention....short frm 9138, closing at 8972

got blown of the water by GU though....GU capitulation sell to expansion#1.618 4770 area....but still nett up...albeit lucky to be

sorry GU chart....know its EG thread

GU done deal or 4600 possible? long term support (2008)...might load up ard there

I'm sorry. I don't know what an evening star is. When I looked it up, it didn't look very like the daily pattern now forming on my feed. But you are on the other side of the world? Maybe that's it. Could you post a chart with the trendline you mentioned?

Interestingly, the outcome of today may become a large bearish pin bar off .9000 on my feed.

i'm looking for that long upper shadow...short lower shadow....small real body close below 9035....its even on the weekly!!

the next candle will be the proof in the pudding

the UTL is one i've drawn on the daily (thick red line)

evening or morning star combos i havent seen for a long while now....esp. with a long shadow (hammer)....this one cld reversed all the way dwn

thats why i'm watching GU closely...swissy will prob. have GU retest and EG coming dwn long term shld help with GU trend up

I get it now. There is a big gap between the real bodies of these two days. I put it down to the end of the month and weekend and as you say, it shows on the weekly.

It does look possible for today's close to be a hammer or pin bar. I'm already short off an H2 and an H4 pin bar. Just as long as she behaves at .9000 and it looks like I may be adding more shorts. This would fit in with Cable moving up to 1.53 to fill the weekend gap and this analysis which mentions 1.55: http://www.forexfactory.com/showpost...postcount=5077

i see where you're gg with that pin bar off 9000....the left shlder (1st candle) is at 8967, which is 38% retrace frm 18feb low - 1mar high....like to see nxt daily candle open and take a jab at 8900 and close thereabts to confirm reversal

the thick aqua line at 8900 will be tested for the 6th time...1st time as support frm this upmove

maybe gd R/R frm tomorrow's candle open....short that to 8900....a big ask?

chged order to half position close 9002 and move SL to 9056

I'm out of this pair. Weird behaviour on EUR/USD and GBP/USD. Trend changes I think and it's going to be lumpy.

I closed my short and I'm signing off until further notice.

Good charts House and Olu. Lots of price action around .9000.

Just had the lower time frame (well, H4) break and re-test of .9000 (well .9025)

2 day chart looking very toppy and I have my shorts ready to trade this longer term.

The hold up may be .9000 as usual but with prior warning and suitable money management this could turn into a nice longer term (weeks) trade

A clean break of the weekly pin bar at .8956 will see me add to this trade.

The usual suspects come into play here: .9025 daily support, .9000 of course, .8830 monthly support, .8600 monthly support and my target .8450 which I hope to see by the General Election in May. The drinks will be on me.
