Been watching this pair waiting for a reason to short...this pin bar with divergence of a strong PPZ area was good enough for me BE at blue area marked....

I filter the noise, trade more talk less, ... and when I do, I save it mostly for the PF.
For some reason, we have more constructive discussions there.... Perhaps people are more serious about their trading business..

I lay in one camp with this only. I think that learning to become picky is really hard when you watch only a handful of pairs. You could go months without finding anything good while on a bunch of others were stand out trades. I believe we should watch as much as you can get your hands on and this will help you stick to becoming as picky as possible. Of course as you go you learn some basic things that are helpful about certain pairs(but nothing that can't be gleaned from the chart itself). So I personally recommend (as does James) watching a bunch of stuff(add in commodities, futures, equities whatever it may be). This way you can scan your charts and learn to get confident with this stuff and the A+ bars.

Again of course these are my views only

Hey Ken

My stop always goes under the bar I am trading, so in this case under the BUOB. I tehn moved it up under 1.3 once we broke hard and then just has a set take profit.

Hey Snoop

This is probably the hardest part and a lot of it just comes from developing your personal style. If you are going to get your stops to b/e you are going to take a lot and a lot of b/e trades and have that occasional runner. Many people who trade this style take 1/2 off at the first area and then just let it run and see what happens. Some do that sometimes, other times leave on the full position etc. The varieties are endless. Keep working with it and seeing where your most comfortable. Exits can be a real personal thing. I try to evaluate each trader individually and then choose the best course of action(which of course I rarely nail it perfect but good enough in the long run)

your honesty and humility aren't only attribute for a good trader but also for an extraordinary man.

I'm feeling such a blessed man being surrounded by people like you and all the others seniors guys.

Can't wait for the day when I'll subscribe to the PF,it will be soon just that I need to carry on other things for the moment

This is my first time posting on this forum but i've been reading throught it for past week or two.

Could you please look at weekly chart and tell me is this a pin bar and the one next to it ret. to fib lvl and good time to enter long?

Good constructive discussions are here, probably better then the PF, meaning that they are at the beginning levels (to the advanced) of constructive discussions.

You may be forgeting that most if not all in the PF started here, brother.

i agree jaroo. occasionally members become excited about pet dogs, snakes, hogs, or video games, but when there are over 3000 pages, percentage wise it's really quite small.

Could you share some of those trades with a chart? Should be fun to go over the different scenarios of how one could manage the trades.

The PF is great. I am lifetime member. It is this thread on steroids and much more. Just volumes more discussions and volumes more videos., etc. With great people at the ready to help you and guide you. Its fantastic.

I can't recommend it more as the place to learn to trade as a business, its second to none in my book.

The James16 Chart Thread serves a great starting point. It compliments the PF nicely. (or is that the other way around ) Sure the thread can be scatter at time, its probably why I like so much. lol You can go from "what's a PB? to "pair correlation theory" in one post. But its definitely a great place to start learning about Price Action in all of its glory.

Yes that is a PB at a great location. The current weekly bar looks like it may close as an Inside Bar. Well have to wait until tomorrow's close on the Weekly to be sure.

We have a confluence of a few things that make it such a great location. Priority # 1 in a great PA setup: Location.

A PPZ level at a Big Round Number 1.5000, a Fib Ret. 61.8 and its at a swing low. What more can you ask for when it comes to location. Not much. lol

So now we need a solid trigger to show us the way. The PB could be better. Meaning the size could be bigger to counter the strong move down. Its a bullish PB so we like the Close of the PB to be higher then the Open not the other way around.

Price could be consolidating at this level (because it is a great level) and may hang around for a while. which could be good so we can play a breakout of that consolidation either way.

This thread is extraordinarily generous, massively informative, fun and occasionally downright weird (did I see a picture of a hog on here once -about the size of a house? - may be I dreamt that)
