Any Elliott traders? Anyone else count this last wave on the Aud/Usd daily as a diagonal 5? Anyone remember the May '08 meltdown and that diagonal wave 5?

Very interesting timing along with the S&P in double topping mode and the VIX at an extremely low level!

I cant justify a long or a short position here.
1. I think the S&P has topped out and we will be seeing a downside in the next couple of days bringing AUD with it.
2. XAU seems to hold at 1105 and if it retraces to 1120+ AUD might recover with it
3. US jobless reports tomorrow not to sure what the effects will be.

but I would like to see a recovery so I can short

Just make sure your not shorting with a wish in one hand and a sh*t in the other. The uptrend may resume.

My trades are doing fine, short from 9135 and 9190, TP open. Aud hit daily highs at 9190 and reversed yesterday so for me that is a good sign for shorts. Gold looks good to continue down 1148ish (can't recall exact figure) was March highs for me so i will hold my shorts in that.

But I think that S&P and eu have a higher pattern to complete, 1151 and 1.3743 respectively before they fall so aud may not go far until they start to reverse. I see the next few weeks months being a big reversal pattern, but i could be wrong, have been before.

Been looking at my charts and I see the AUD/USD turning around at around ~.9270. i've been debating whether to close my screwed up short trade from .8855 or not; i may hold it, but it's been bothering me so much that i haven't been trading, just staring at my aud/usd charts

A/U has difficulty passing through S zone at .9115-20 , next S zone is .9060-70
