Where Can I find lbtrader post concerning how to use the Chikou span for profit targets?

closed my long at 1.3675 for +50pips as kijun sen turned flat and stochastic overbought. waiting for the next buying/selling opportunity on eurusd. pair is still trading in range within 1.3733 and 1.3433 since last week.

Im also in (if i can qualify when the rules come out) on this turtles group.

Im on page 60 of this thread while reading 600 onwards....just trying to catchup buit have been trading ichi for about 2mths now and getting the hang of it.

Everyone can qualify my friend, even those who have never ever seen an Ichimoku Chart in their life.

As I said the only condition is comitment

Hey all, thought I would share my first Ichimoku trade with you.

Setup - I believe this to be a strong sell signal. TS/KS cross under the Kumo and Chikou under price action.

Date - 8th March
Pair - USDCHF
Timeframe - 4 hours
Entry - 10732
Target - 10682 (50 pips)
Stoploss - 10782 (50 pips)

Was I correct in my approach?

Hey all
Very interested in the Turtles group.
Been trading Ichimoku since November last year and following this thread since a while before that. Trading for a couple of years.

I trade ichi full time 5 days a week, all day and am totally committed to it. Have had good results trading the H1, H4 and D1. I also have a few friends who trade ichi who would be very interested and who I could eventually pass this info on to.

Would be a pleasure to be involved.

hello ezmai,

in the attached chart, the chikou span is above the kumo and senkou span a is still above span b. Your trade might work out, but I won't call it a strong sell signal.

Hey OliverPip, thanks so much for your feedback.
I am confused though! Do I have the right settings on my MT4 platform? I am using 9,26 and 52.
My chart looks very different to yours.
If my inchimoku indicator settings is correct, I have the following setup:-
1. The chikou span line (purple) is below the price action and not above the kumo.
2. The kijun-sen line (dotted blue) is below the kumo.
3. The tenkan-sen line (red) is also below the kumo.
4. Finally, both the KS and TS lines have crossed beneath the kumo.

Is this not an idea sell signal?

With all that said I did manage 50 pips this morning, was it just luck?
