Maybe I will look at it again but it was very strange because the SL and TP were both flashing but the profit was -2.48 for a lot size of 2.0
I could only think this was a massive spread increase ?????

In my opinion it should be illegal for a retail broker to widen the spread on your trade after you have placed it. The spread should be fixed per trade at the time they accepted it.
But I know what their response will be to that.....fcuk off.....probably.

My positive results for 1.6 continued to be incredible...
First off - my apologies - blasted MT4 will not allow me to log into this demo account which is on a computer at another location. I will try to upload specifics later and these numbers are from my memory... But my results.
For the two weeks I have had The Holy Grail 1.6 running, the EA captured 742 pips. There were 3 losers in the group.
Now a couple of comments...
1. Anything performing that well, out of respect, should no longer be referred to by simply its initials. Steve, I suggest anyone from now on anyone who types just THG (forgive me Father for this sin...) should be forever banned from this thread!!!
2. Scoobs, your waiting another week to wait another week to release The Holy Grail v 2.1 is putting a serious crimp on my plan to be ridiculously rich by next Thursday. 3 losers out of 30+ trades? I can't believe the rubbish you are coding...
Anyone who doesn't understand comments 1 and 2 above, I suggest look up the word "sarcasm" or "sarcastic humor" in the dictionary or somewhere - although there is some truth in the first one. Since my coding skills are not anywhere close to others in this thread, I hope that my attempt at humor adds some value. I am grateful for the knowledge I am acquiring through everyone's posts. Unfortunately, in explaining to you why you are banned, I also had to use The Dreaded Abbreviation, and so am also banned for ever.
I have decided that this ridiculous situation cannot be allowed to continue, so I have lifted my own ban. In order to preserve a sense of justice, I therefore lift your ban as well.
Wouldn't be much use as a Dictator, would I?
Your post send me off to summarise how 1.6 did on my demo this week: 28 trades; 24 winners; 465 pips. Pretty good going in a week that was moribund for half the time because of the looming NFP.

I have surpassed myself this time. I am almost proud.
Ok, so I was wondering why ADR OB_OS was not taking any trades at all. Granted, the markets barely flickered once I put it on demo and I never saw any potential trades on Wednesday or Thursday.
There should have been trades on Friday, but the bot took none. I had got into a bit of a logic fuzz with adapting it to trade the breakouts, so I assumed I had mucked something up and settled in to check the code a couple of hours ago.
I traced each line of code with care.
I could see nothing wrong.
Until I spotted that TradeLong and TradeShort defaulted to false and there was no screen feedback to warn me.
Ye Gods.
Anyone else wondering why the robot wasn't taking any trades and had not studied the inputs, this is why. Easy enough to turn them on when the markets open up, but I have uploaded a version with a screen warning when the trades are turned off.
Now I am going to find an activity that matches my intellectual capacity. I am going to watch the grass growing.
