You can get a splitter/jack or add multiple V-Cards to your existing comp. I have 2 laptops with 2 screens off of each laptops, so 6 total. I have a desktop that runs a wall projection and a 55' Plasma with 4 screens on that. Then you got your bloom/reut and a CNN/MSNBC tv/box running off in the distance. If you have just a basic PC, you should still be able to run 2 screens off of it, just from the manufacturer; look for another blue video adaptor on your tower. One good thing, if you want cheap PCs to run a ton of screens on, just go to your local university, they cycle computers from their labs every year and sell them fo literally nothing. That's how I got started back when. However, when I was at GS, some tool did a study that found that there is a decreasing marginal effectiveness when it comes to computer screens. The idea is that the human brain can't register that much info. The peak was a like 8 or something. But if you break each screen into like 4 windows, it takes the same affect. Keep it simple. Don't use too many screens and understand what each screen is telling you. I feel like, with the traders that I have worked with, personal trading terminals are like cars, everyone likes to pimp them out. What should really matter is how efficient they are and how well they get you from A to B. I worked with a guy that used 2 screens trading OTC and did better than the tools using 5+. I have to admit, I have felt some pride in "pimping" out my home terminal, but it doesn't make you any more effective.

WOW !!! How do you run 10 monitors all at the same time ? are they all connected to the one PC or how many PC's ?
well i ran 13 monitors 8 for 8 pairs
each pair with 8 charts 5m,15,m,30m,60m,2h,4h,day,week.
this 8 monitors run with an HP monster computer with a special card (looks like an octopuss) has huge memory in ram to hold all the graphics runin.
then i have 1 laptop with a dual head2go device.( u can run up to 5 monitors with one of this thingsfrom a laptop)
then I have an extra laptop for whatever else and a TV running news 24/7
but u cant see it in the pic is a normal tv in the opposite wall I use to run bloomberg tv with a special card but had a delay of 3 seconds and that was bad for some results like NFPR.
all i wish now is a minifridge so i dont have to go to the kitchen and a bathroom inside the ofice ha!
