u can trade with any platform & any platform time. just trade what u see.

alternatively, u can look at 2-3 MT4's/platforms at the same time, if u want to/can.

1. trade CADJPY: 4hr, PIN, 61.8 fibo touch, nice position, clear SL lvl just above pre-PIN bar and little above PPZ @ 86.15, [email protected]. After trade was triggered, market has moved immediately to 85.65 PPZ lvl. 1/3 of trade was closed and rest was put to BE. On the next bar I have managed to close another 1/3 when bar was making LL. Last 1/3 of trade...

A quick question for the IB fans.. What do you call that which appears on GBP/CHF (H4) ? I16B? Mike, Jarroo, Dale, Anyone??

yes it would be an I?B, fill the ? mark with whatever amount that then current inside bars range is smaller then the previous X bars. So if it has a smaller range then the previous 15 bars it would be a I16B

Hello everybody! This is my 1st post at FF. I started reading this thread 4 or 5 days ago and I'm all the way up to page 44. I feel like a time traveler showing up here on page 3810. Anyway, I did the math, and at the rate I'm going, it's gonna take me 3 months just to read my way to this post. I was hoping someone might suggest a more efficient option for getting up to speed, since 3800 pages will probably hurt my head very badly. Is there a more condensed version hereabouts? I'd appreciate any advice.

Hey Mike,

First of all welcome.
I am also relatively new here and know how you feel.

One thing I found very useful is the links on page 1, especially the very 1st one which is a link to a lot of other links.

Another thing you could do is read the posts of some of the senior members, that way you get all the juicy bits without having to read through all the posts.

And then if there is anything you still need to know, just ask your question here!!!!!

There are plenty of people who have the knowledge and desire to help out us new guys!!!!

I've been a lurker here for more than 3 months (one of the 'invisibles'), and I'm STILL reading this stuff and practicing it without touching the pf yet. To me, it wouldn't make sense paying $129/month to cram even more info into my thick skull if I can't already let the good free stuff sink in.

Since you've only just started reading this thread, re-read the first 20-30 pages multiple times (say around 4-5 times), and make sure it sinks in 'cause that's where the bulk of the info is. Then go check out your monthly, weekly, daily charts and see if you can identify all the setups correctly.

After that, you can continue reading from the front of the thread for past setups and wisdom (what works, what doesn't, mm, psychology etc., it's all there, trust me) while dropping by the latest pages to see what the seniors have got their eyes on 'real-time' (okay it's usually AFTER the trade's been done, but at least it's recent enough for you to visit your charts and practice plotting support/resistance, fibs etc. to see what they see). That's what I'm doing anyways, and I'm only on page 335. ^^;

One thing that has REALLY helped me digest all of this has been the videos in the guest section at www.james16group.us. Some of the most helpful information I have ever come accross.

Yes, the more the confluences line up, the better. Its been a pretty stong move down, we're going to need some big PA or a nice base (consolidation) at this level to support a strong move up.

take your time with the entire thread and dont burn yourself out.

what we do is simple. if you stay involved with the current postings and follow the outlines in post 1 you will be fine.
