Here's a pinbar that is starting to form. If it does form at the close, just wondering what some of your thoughts are? My thinking is that it is not an A+ setup due to the fact that it is close to consolidation and is in the midst of a strong uptrend. But there is convergence with the BRN.

Don't want to be a hero never posted how much I have because it does not matter. I think someone else started something on how I trade Jackoo or something I think it's about 200 pages. Was just throwing stuff out to other helping with emotion / trend stuff. Also I have posted a lot of charts and my trades real-time if you go back but don't worry about it, reading my stuff is a waste of time.

Interesting link Ryan, but what have you really got in common to James16? He trades longer time frames, you think that sucks and slate it. He has a private site and teaches traders to trade, you can't be bothered as you think most people are 'lazy', I'm not having a pop, just trying to weed out the hot air around here, you maybe one of the best traders, or someone claiming benefit living in a trailer park, how will I personally know unless I see proof of some sort? Again, not having a pop, just trying to get through one trade to the next myself!

Hey Max

I know what your intentions are, and a lot of people just get put off cause Ryan just tells it like it is. I have spoke to him on the phone and known him for a long time. He actually does a lot similar to James, price action, but in his own way as well. He just does what works for him. We all have to find our own way to a certain extent. He is a good guy trust me on that

Let's get back to trading fellas! We are all here to learn the process never really stops

The answer is that you will never know for sure.

If 10+ vouchers and respect in the thread community isn't enough for you, then you'll just have to live in doubt.

Ok Mike, as you have posted a Zillion times and seem a nice helpful guy I will take you at your word. So, Ryan can trade, now, is he here to help us who only achieve a few % a week, then give it back, to hopefully with hardwork to get to his level?

To be honest, Vouches on a bb means nothing to me, you could be talking right now to a trader who has traded for 7 years and has averaged 10% per week for the last 2 years, just because I have no vouches and don't talk the talk means zero. I look at what is written, have they started a thread? Does what they are saying make sense? Has there been any realtime examples with reasoning behind the trades (we can all post hindsight trades, they mean zero). You have to be so careful on free bb websites as 99% of what's posted is worthless. Back to trading!

Short on the 4 hour pin in CAD/JPY. It's currently at the first area of traffic.

It's off the 61.8 fib with a little bit of space.

My target is the second area highlighted (in aqua).

Anyone else take this?

you are right Ryan, i was a victim of this in my first blown account and lots of time in demo.

its amazing how over trading tends to kick i even when you know you shouldn't be in the market - probably you are not phychologically in tune -

to work around that, i opened a demo acc. and whenever i feel this way, i trade it in demo.

that's Exactly what i did for this set-up i saw on EU earlier today (can't post charts now.... work) and know what the outcome is?...... you guessed it - big loss.
Thank God it wasn't my live account.

I will never setup a site to teach people because it takes too much time to do it right, I think the J16 site is great and I have been a member in the past. But as you know if you do trade for a living then you know more people will fail at this it's just how it goes, if you think I am full or crap that is fine as I think you are full of it too because the 6 posts you have are all bashing people I posted screen prints of my live account to show my trades but it always seems that the losers that can not trade go nuts and want to bash everyone else. I just like to help that is all, I never asked for money or anything in return it's just something I do.

I considered this but it's just not what I am looking for. It wasn't at a PPZ on my chart and the pin was too small for me. just had the 61FIB going for it...

I've found here on FF a topic (up to date) talking about PBs and EAs.

Any of you using Metatrader4? I do, and I'm not really interested in Expert Advisors, but I DO am interested in indicators.

Ok first of all let me say I actually didn't go through all the 3789+ pages of this thread, I'm still reading it, because i started it from the beginning and I'm not done yet, so you might have already talked about this...

Anyway, my idea, based on that topic, is to create an indicator which DOESN'T replace our beloved human combo made of eyes+brain ( I'm a gamer, so i like the "combo" word =) ) but my intent is to create an indicator that helps us out to classify pin bars and any other kind of price action.

So, now I'm asking you, could a PinBar or any other price action pattern be classified as B, A, A++ ecc just on mechanical situations and other indicators? I know you didn't get my point here, it's hard to me to explain, let me quote a post of that thread:

CADJPY 4hr PIN have been triggered, just closed 1/3 and put rest to BE. Hope you agree on PPZ zones. Lets see if market is heading to some direction finally.
