Scary stuff. Although the US can naturally have its ups and downs, variances in fig's and fiscal (accounting) policies can be huge and a return to normalcy in relatively short order would not be an outlier IMHO, a la Clinton second term..

Many countries rely on the US, this is not a US problem alone.
I reckon one would see many sovereign failures prior to the US such as we have, misery likes company and conversely it is lonely at the top. And...Ignored
