How do I remove the grid

I don't like the grid when doing backtests and I think it is annoying to remove it manually each time. Is it possible to make a default backtester chart?

Make a chart just the way you like it.

Then go to File -> Profiles -> Save As and make sure you save the profile as "Default"

profiles should have nothing to do with the backtester.... profiles are collections or arrangements of charts..... by selecting a particular profile you can in 1 click open dozens of prebuilt charts..... with indicators and/or ea's attached..... profiles are the equivalant of layouts in metastock, if your familar with metastock.....

to remove the grid on the backtester open a chart and manually remove the grid, if it's there.... whatever that chart looks like is what the backtester chart will look like.... if you have indicators on it, those indicators will be on the backtester chart..... so remove or add anything needed....... then save that chart as a template .... use tester as the name.... just plain tester.....

the same applies if you wanted to have a particular chart setup open everytime you opened a chart.... create the chart, choose whatever timeframe, space the price bars if you have a preference add any and all indicators if needed..... then same as template, but this time use default as the name......

from then on your favorite timeframe and chart setup will open by default......h

i must agree with hayseed, if your need is nothing else than to remove the Grid when backtesting, a template should be used, or by pressing Ctrl+G you"ll get the Grid instantly removed
