I will say I find myself spending more and more time on the D1 and H4 these days. Didn't even open an M15 today for example. It has also taught me some much needed patience as I was rushing entries.

Those shorter time frames can work ok but the longer are much better for reliable setups, there is just so much noise on the smaller time frames and what looks like a good setup turns out to be a sniper...I dont mean a Custos sniper but a sniper...Hahahah

My touch trade is still alive and so is my CADJPY trade damn near stopped though on the CJ...

haha, I know what you mean. The short time-frames are really very dangerous. They are maybe for the mozarts among us, but since most of us are mere mortals, we are better off trading higher time-frames.

basically you take a trade based on a few factors:
with the trend, confluence of trendline, S/R level, fib level & RN coming together, and you look out for price action leading up to your confluence area.

but there are a lot of posts here about touch trades, just search the thread and you will find a lot of examples.

Here is an easier way to learn about Touch Trades. Do a thread search with the key word and you will get everying right from the get go ....also if you go the the begining of the thread you can learn about the Hector style trade on which this thread was actually started.

Actually the thread was started as a trend trading thread, but there were several using the same method and it kind of turned into a Hector thread...hahahha

Actually its trend trading .... with two different entry methods....one based on Hector methodology, in which NM is the Jedi Master. Other one is called the Touch Trades, which again is a trend trading style with a different entry method (Custos is the Jedi Master in TTs).

That CADJPY pair must have a long liver it is still alive, I have tightened my stop because I know we are at the bottom of the channel but yet it still lives...

Closed out chf/jpy trade at +40 pips....all of a sudden boom it went up...i didn't think that news was going to have an impact...but i guess it did
