Is that trendline off your H4? I've tried redrawing mine and I can't get it as close as yours. 1.4425 is about the best I could do. Which is why I was expecting price to go a bit higher.

You weren't kidding about this pair moving slowly.

Looks like we are getting a nice pullback though.

On the 4 hour chart it looks intact yet, but I think a break below that long wick on the red candle will take care of this pair for awhile...but then again who knows all you can do is react to it...

yeah, I also think so. But I think money is more efficiently made (or lost) on other pairs. AUD/NZD is such a crappy pair. Too long wicks & very slow...

that's because of the different time-zones, but actually the shape of the candles doesn't matter so much, it's still the same price action & same information just "packaged" into different candles.

I think custos was right in that it depends on where your server is located...I can bring up mig and it is different than FXDD or FXCM...

Yes this pair in one candle covers more ground than the all of the pass defenders in the NFL cover in a season...

Aud/Nzd should go down. A move below or close below 1.2817 should give it enough legs to go down at least 100 pips at least to 1.2700. I had a trade like this last year with this pair. It made me about 100 pips but it takes its sweet time to move. So if you can be patient it might be worth a try.

It is a slow mover it likes to run in place for extended periods of times...

I'm sure that's it. I've never compared the two closely though.

I suppose it's only an issue if you trade the candlestick formations closely. You wouldn't want to be looking at a totally different pattern than everyone else.

Perhaps this is why Hector says the longer time frames respect the patterns better than the shorter. There would be fewer differences due to time discrepancies.

Or maybe it's just apples and oranges.

I agree with that, the S/R levels hold much more weight on a longer time frame than they do on a shorter time frame, and the setups have a much better quality and trust to them...

There are plenty of good traders in this thread that can guide you along, we all use pretty much the same method...with a few other techniques as well...
