After demoing for the last 3 - 4 moths I have not have 2 losing baskets in a month but that means nothing as you know

This is gambling just like craps (which I love) hopefully I can get an edge

Which bot have you had any success with?

Looks very similar to (but more sophisticated than) a mod I did on "Scooby" which I am testing.

Don't get too excited. The logic is a lot simpler, and yet I still managed to goof up the code and only noticed when I saw the bot had only buy trades.

I will post more if this actually has legs in testing (and if you approve).

*Proposal to improve Exit Signals for Scoob Original v2.3*
We are using volatility-based exits. Our goal is to accommodate different market conditions by using wider stops and profit targets in a volatile market, while using smaller stops and profit targets in a quiet market.

We measure the volatility of a market using the *Average** Daily Range** (ADR).* In order to calculate the ADR, we measure the distance between the *Daily High* and the *Daily Low*, and build an average over the past seven(or 30 days) days:

{(*High of yesterday - Low of yesterday) + (High of 2 days ago - Low of 2 days ago)

+ (High of 3 days ago - Low of 3 days ago) + ... + (High of 7 days ago - Low of 7 days ago) } / 7*


We use this 7 days(or 30 Days) ADR to calculate our stop loss and profit target:

* *Profit Target = as per Scoobs original TP rules= 200*

Hi, Steve, this idea is great, and applied comprehensively in electronic trading.

i roughly remember, actually Zoogle's version of scooby 20/200ema, 3rsi, EA is using similar idea. and so it is with Maxou's EA.

the only thing: 7 days average seems long. maybe try 1~3 days first.
