Hey guys,

I'm new to this James 16 stuff but I know a number of traders who have referred me here. I guess right now i only have one question. What's the best approach to learning the price action in here? I started reading through posts, getting bits and pieces of what's going on, but it sounds like the only real option is to pay for the James 16 website? Anyways, I don't have much money for trading and 600 or whatever hte cost is would take a big chunk out of my fledgling bankroll.

edit: should i just start from the beginning and read through the whole thing? or is there a better way?

Yeah I know the feeling, my weekly PB on the swissy comes to mind. I just remember how many times this approach saved my a$$ when it didn't go my way.

it's just impossible to take everything off the table most of the time at least for me, so I got used to it lol and i'm not a greedy person or i try not to be

You took full profit. Shame on you young man.

You gotta leave a little on the table to run, my friend. This is my goal on every trade I take. Protect yourself, takes some profit and let it run forever or at a obvious reversal. Let your stop loss, once in profit, define your profits.

I'm new to this James 16 stuff but I know a number of traders who have referred me here. I guess right now i only have one question. What's the best approach to learning the price action in here? I started reading through posts, getting bits and pieces of what's going on, but it sounds like the only real option is to pay for the James 16 website? Anyways, I don't have much money for trading and 600 or whatever hte cost is would take a big chunk out of my fledgling bankroll.

All the senior guys from here will recommend you to stay for a couple of months or how much will it take you to get a feel of what's going on here.

I'm lucrking+active trader in this thread for about 11 months,and I have gone through the pain of reading the hole thread,is a huge help if you do so,and to follow the requirement from post nr1.

My current financial situation won't allow me to pay for the PF,but I swear in some few months I will subscribe for the PF,and I intended to be a life time member.

drop a question in this thread and you'll see many hands that will help you!!

You will get PLENTY of information if you start from the beginning of this thread. It will take some time and dedication, but if you are truly interested in learning the James16 price action that is what I recommend. Once you are comfortable with the material you can then decide/take the next step on the private forum. This thread alone is laden with gold, so start mining from page 1 and enjoy!

If you are not lazy you can get it all from this thread and then some. The key for you is money > being lazy lol. If I could do it all over again and spend 100k to know what I know now I would do it in a heartbeat and save myself a few 1000 hours and 10's of thousands of $$$. You have to remember lots of people lose in this game 95% or better so if you try to follow someone you may be losing just like them. Find a time you like and something you have CONFIDENCE in and get good with it, don't look for a magic trade that is going to work 100% of the time, if you find a 50/50 you can make millions a year with good money management.

Thanks for the reply, I want to clarify that I don't plan to just jump on board right away and scrap my old ways of trading. Rather, I want to integrate what is in this thread into my own trading method. So it sounds like the best thing to do is start reading from the beginning to the end.

Can't wait to get started...I guess I'll approach this like im reading a trading book because I love reading about hte markets. Just going to have to get used to sifting through a lot of posts that are less relevant to the method on this thread.

Its not about greed and its not about fear. Its about trading what the charts tell you in a very simple, logical manner and protecting yourself along the way.
