There's nothing to change in the EA. No variables for me to tweak as I'm a big zero at programming.

Anyone still testing this Scooby the very first version? It didn't have sl nor tp and I have predicted it to blew my account. But to my surprise, this thing kept going amist storm and tempest with some dd but then it try to remedy the situation and close it with a small loses but most of the in good profit. It's just amazing! Two weeks now and it now +25% whereas other EA seemed struggling.

There is no Scooby.mq4. There are about 15 robot available here. You need to be more precise in your title when asking about one of them.

yes, you are right.

this scooby EA is actually the early version of "scooby 20ma, 200ma, and RSI3" EA. later on, Zoogle also provided his version of this EA, that, imho, is a great improvement. i guess, right now, most ppl here are using "Scooby 20EMA-200EMA-RSI3.mq4". and most of feedbacks sound positive too.

i am very curious about ur experiences, so for last week, Wednesday, my "Scooby 20EMA-200EMA-RSI3 EA" sufferred loss of 20% of my live equity. I had $550 balance, using 0.01 lot (1 pip about 1 U.S. dime). about 8~10 stoploss, killed $100+ capital. I doubt something wrong with my setting or just it is not the right time. i in fact, worried about the drawdown, stopped out all trades, and turned off the EA (maybe I should've hold...), till the Friday. (i'm not complaining, on the contrary, i truly appreciate Scooby and Steve's contribution, I learned a lot.)

That's why I'd appreciate if you'd like to confirm that your early version--scooby EA in fact survived and made profit. Could you please estimate at the worst time, what is your drawdown amount? and your trading lot size?

Hi Steve, Scoobs TCF v2 doesn't seem to work with 4 digit broker, getting error;
Scoobs TCF V2 GBPJPY,Daily: Order send failed with error(130): invalid stops

EDIT: correction, it does work but just not with my broker avafx.com

Hi Scoobs, no, I'm using avafx.com

Why do you ask? looks like trade is sent without a SL or TP anyway.

It works with IBFX 4 and 5 digits, Weird

Must be something with my broker

Is it me or is there no way of setting my own parameters i.e lot sizes etc for the Holy Grail EA?

It's highest dd so far is about 10% and open max 5 trades at a time. Even though it doesn't use any sl, trades will eventually close out whether gain or lost whenever they reach their respective RSI3 H1 OB or OS. If we can make the entry more precise, then we can have less of a dd plus bigger profit also.

In the latter version, whenever market retraces very strongly, almost all sl will be triggered. However in this first version, since it doesn't have a sl, it just ride out the retracement and when it fizzled off and resume its original direction, then that is the time it will start closing out almost always at a much better price than the sl. And that is not all. Since it doesn't use any tp, every so often you will get some very large profit also. Everything little things add up and helps the bottomline.

I'm a little concerned about using the M1. If you're looking for short term OB/OS, then won't the M1 trend (EMA 20 / EMA 200) often be opposite the others?

It seems as if it could eliminate nearly all trades if you insist that the M1 be in trend direction and yet H4, H1 and M15 be in oversold/overbought opposite to trend.

Wednesday's DD was caused by Hedge Funds with no warning.

Too bad. Anyway, you are the creator of the Holy Grail and of course you call the shot. Respect it.

Just don't understand, if someone don't like it why can't just leave it alone and beat it. It's just like going to a buffet meal, you just eat the food that you want and leave the others alone or untouch. Do you go and mess around with the food so others cannot have it? I bet you don't cause you have many eyeballs looking at you. At the same time, your baxxs are hiding somewhere. Not over here, i guess. If you don't like it doesn't mean that the rest of the people don't like it.

Sorry if i sound offensive but i do believe that i have the freedom of expression.

Hi all,

During my journey in Paris, I saw that my bot worked a lot, unfortunately the remaining (loosing) open trades are larges.
Originally when I started developping this bot 2 months ago, I checked 3 TF for the trend (M15, H1 and H4), later (and actually) only 2. So I will back to check 3 TF (20 EMA > 200 EMA). We will have very much less trades, but hope we will recover faster.
Also I will try to add the feature included in last Scoob Holy grail :change the period of RSI according pair and time, althought that when using rsi oscillator that works a little different. I Will make some tests, but the idea is promising. Maybe we have to check something else, bands, momentum, MACD, I don't know.
Also the version using NonLagMa seems promising, I will make some visual test to see if there is a way with that.
In order to save time for Steve , I will try to reduce the number of updates of my bot. Hope this help.
