Dislikedyep, i would have bought once on the 25th around 07:00GMT and sold one time on the 26 around 06-9 GMT. then there was a false buy signal that i would have hopped out of because the sells took control and it went way below +100 closer towards just what you were paying in spread for the IA. then that's a small loss. then i would have sold again.
tough week but that's how I would have played it and yes that was about a 1500 pip week.
P.S i don't use that indicator at all so i am looking at this a little differentlyIgnored
Dislikedhello hazelj,
I applied a +100 line on this indicator and find that most of the action is actually contained below 100. see attached image. what's wrong here? did u mean +10 ?Ignored

DislikedSorry was very busy last week.
Last week wrap up.
Holding basket for a week didn't seem very good idea. As you could see from the chart if you entered at the point I have you would have just a light profit, otherwise it were very good opportunities for gaining much more.
Last week was another proof that basket price respects all main technical principals, not only fibo lines, but the trend lines too. The uptrend line was broken last week and we shall see if it was just a support testing or major trend change.
Cheers to everyone,

Dislikednow that i take a look at it, everything does seem correct. but i guess what i need is for the "m" to be taken out since i do not use IBFX or make a suffix parameter. i think that's where my problem is and when i use 5 digit accounts. this has came up before so that's what's really all that's wrong with it. nothing serious. I think because when don tried to modify it for the original pairs we use, it had very different readings.
but if you could change that to where I don't have to always use IBFX mini account and to where it just adds the JPY...Ignored
Dislikedhazelj80,
I updated the following bugs:
- Variable suffixes for different brokers
- Point/digits calculation
- Dollar amount calculation
Hopefully these items are correct now. Unfortunately, I did not have much time to thoroughly test these changes on different brokers.
I did not complete the other items you requested (alert, consolidating non-USD and non-JPY currencies into 1 "Other" category). I'm sure someone can figure out how to do them.Ignored

DislikedThere is one addition that above all else that would complete the indicator for me and that is a user set 'close date and time'. Where if the user sets the close date and time the current date and time is ignored.
Example; estrOpenDate set to "2010.02.14 23:00
estrCloseDate set to "2010.02.16 22:59Ignored
DislikedYeah, that seems like a logical thing to do. See updated, attached indicator.
Keep in mind that the indicator uses the current chart timeframe. So, to get a close time of "22:59", you would have to attach to the M1 chart.
Again, I did minimal testing of this...so please test accordingly.Ignored
