I should have entered at that first arrow, but I missed it, so I got in at the later arrow. Because of my late entry I did not get my 6 pips...

Also I recorded this one so you can see my thoughts behind it. Once I get it up on youtube I will post it.

That exit may look perfect, but it stopped there for at least 10 seconds. So I got out with my 6 pips.

Trade 5 ended in a small loss

This trade took forever, but at least I can end the week with a win!!

Not my normal hours, and took forever, but got my 6 pips... that is it until morning.

Nice trades... thought something tells me there is more to this than meets the eye?

There is always more to trading than meets the eye. I have been trading for a long time, and I remember watching successful traders that made it look so easy. However when I tried to do what they did it ended in disaster. Then I would move on to something else.

It wasn't until I stuck to something long enough to really learn it, and get a feel for it that I began to see success. Then there are the emotional issues, which are probably the biggest hurdle to overcome. If you cannot keep your emotions out of your trading you are no better off than a gambler. This is probably the biggest problem with new, as well as seasoned traders.

Three quick trades.... My wife is sick today, and I have to watch the kids, so this is probably it for today... I kind of forced that first one, and got lucky, but didn't get my 6 pips... I only actually got 2-4... can't remember but it wasn't 6.

No - I am keeping an eye on this thread, like it! And the analysis in entering a trade and exiting and trade are very good. Keep it up... get a couple of more vids onto here... they are pretty cool!

I am looking into something similar, over bought and over sold on a MTF approach and seeing how it sort of goes as well.

Thanks... I am trying to record one trade/day... I recorded my first one today... just happens to be my worst one, that I kind of forced...LOL

That is cool... there is not one way to trade, you just have to find something that fits you, and works... and stick to it till you make it...

here is the trade I recorded today... A very poor one, but I guess I should post the bad ones with the good ones...

since I missed most of my trading this morning, I took this nice setup.

As you can see on the 5 min we broke up above our 50 moving average, made a pullback, and I entered when the 156 wma (on my 8 range) showed support, and we broke past the tma's

I exited because it was slow, and I had my 6 pips.

Last one... This time a counter trend. The only bad thing about this one was that we were not on a pivot or fib level.

And that this time of day is soooo.. slow...

I put on a few right here.

There was my homerun trade... perfect setup, I should have held longer. But I got 10 pips.

Almost the same setup as the last one, but this is the second time off 1.3568, so it is a little more risky.
