don't desesperate man i'm still looking to see how to take the rsi "big picture" to make TCF2 more active and as secure than now.
The story is that if i enable highrsi setting into the bot within my previous good settings (LR & rsi current), TCF2 fail with "trades are not allowed".

So, i need to send clear highrsi conditions to Steve before anything as actual design stop everything.
i think i will able to post something good enough and following the initial Scoob rules in a few hours.

Still following Steve's post 1: "if you don't understand rsi, learn it", so i do

scoob - have you incorporated your code in the earlier version of yen trader? or should I paste that code into the version I have?

I take your local PC time and add the LocalGMTOffset. Scooby originally programmed to not trade on Friday's past 11(I assumed GMT) so I have stuck to this.

I´ve try´d to run on ODL live account and it did not work... only work demo
may be the criminal? what people think about this.

It could be the indicator as I have seen it not working with other brokers too.

I dont know why as it was built by some company.

v513b has been going great guns on FXDD - well done!

Tried the 513b on ECN broker demo (with 5 digit, suffixes and 2 step order handling) Collective FX. It was a no go.

Do you think the time is right to add in ECN broker compatibility into next version ?

A number of people here can help. Wilco and Steve. Just to name a few. Wilco knows the Collective FX unique pairs inside out.

Hehe. I am not hard-coding anything on the basis of backtesting results. What I will do is add OB/OS levels to the two higher tf rsi settings, then people have complete control over these.

Scoobs, Steve,

Attached is an indi to visually test the theory of 20-200 ema rsi2 logic as well as the Long term trend function scoobs created.

The indi has asetting for Show_T
1-Long Term Trend Only
2-20-200 Ema 2RSI Buy Sell Logic
3- Combination of both.

The default is 2;

You can modify or change levels and the ema and rsi periods. Defaults as suggested by Scoobs EA are used.

According to the EA, when the 20_200_RSI2 fourTFs meet logic conditions, a trade is placed. As it stands now, if the value of the indi at default settings 15/-15, the Ea place a Long/Short order. By observation that does not seem to be a winning startegy. I have not demo'ed the EA so I am not sure what the results for this EA are.

Some observations.


If the value of the indi is 15, wait till the value goes below 11, place a long at the lowest high and stop loss at lowest low; Reverse when at -ve 15.

Below -4 the bias is long , above 4 the bias is short.

Slow decay to zero from extremes is is typically ranging with possible correction.

Since this is a non linear sysytem, using confirmed setups should yield higher probability trades.
