If my tl was drawn correct, that was a perfect TL bounce, due to the strong usd run yesterday, i'm not sure it will continue, so i've still a tight stop at .8990

So did you just get stopped out?

I am still long as we approach daily S2 but stops are close to being hit if we pass quickly below there. Might add another position here with the same SL, decide during London. We continue to close the hourly above key bull support.

Smells like a shakeout to me, bring on the irrational exuberance.

Yes only a couple of hundred bucks. That's how I read it too. It's their first chance for a selldown after last night's rout.

Really? I read it a bit different. Europe comes online, sees that Tokyo bought at 8943 and every trader and his dog is watching this so called "channel".

Too easy: run the bid up to sucker retail longs in, retract bids, take out retail stops and Tokyo buys, then buy into all the retail stoplosses selling for a discount.

I could be wrong.

Taking a shot at 89.50.
I usually don't like going with the Fibo's but like the support here. Will bail if gold falls further. Hopefully European bounce.

not every trader is watching that 'so called' channel. only scalpers. the 1hr TL was broken by my math at .8965, then went up to test it at .8985. i really only look at dailies before i decide my view, but i sometimes look at smaller time frames when i'm bored. and the daily candle is bearish now, so i'd not bet on a pin bar , or something like that.

another thing it could be, is profit taking from yesterday's positions. not sure how large institutions square up on positions on a daily basis, but it could relate to that.

Added another long at 8947 with same SL as other positions, 8933.

Back in an hour or so.

GMAE traders.

Along with yesterdays 9000 puts I will add some small profits to the pile +20 from 8947 and move my SL to BE-5 on the other long from 63.

Great week so far.

Could go a lot higher than this I reckon, but very tired from a long day of work, happy to bank the daily quota and kick back a bit.
