Fibonacci huh? I once made an EA that drew fibs using 3LZZ Semafors to identify the swings. If I could figure out how to add Semafors to the BuyAll line on the BuysVsSells indicator, then I maybe could do the same thing to this indicator as I did in that EA a long while back, and make it autodraw fibs and trendlines using Semafors.
StartWeeksBack code is fine. The problem is not having enough history, so that the starttime (aka Bar Open time on backtest indicator) is different for each pair. If it is the same, then it should work fine.
Having said that, I am in the process of revising my indicators, adding a MasterIA Mode.
MasterIA Mode will look at the total bars for each of the 14 pairs, and the pair that has the least number, that is the bar we use for the starting bar, get the time of that bar, and that is our starttime.
This is the only other way that I know how I can make sure all pairs use the same starttime (and this code I got from Kevin who started the thread 'NFP System - Backtest data provided, where he used it on that indicator, and I modified the code to work in my indicator). Even then, unless you actually have the history for all pairs, the indicator will just hang when placed, where it shouldn't now when using StartWeeksBack. But using StartWeeksBack will not hang, it will just not be accurate if all pairs not using same starttime (and we must use Comments on chart when using backtest indicator and using the same number for StartWeeksBack on both backtest and buysvssells indicator).
If I have all metaquotes history downloaded for all pairs (choosing M1 for pair and clicking download), and have clicked download again on all pairs to make MT4 use M1 history to make other timeframes' history, then if I was doing a backtest in MT4 Terminal, this is the way I would get a 90% Modelling Quality. So I've done that for all pairs.
So if I have that code to use the last bar going back in history that all pairs have in common, have as much history as I can get, count spreads, give currency value to everything, then I have the longest IA ever made. This may be a good time to merge the two, but I am still busy at work, been resting when not working, and still trying to understand Orest's awesome coding. He's got skillz.
Orest:
I haven't had a chance to use your newest EA (thanks Orest!), but I look forward to it when I get a chance.

Thank you hazelj80 for posting. I know we've worked on a lot together. I hope we can find what we need with this method that will make all the hard work pay off for us both, and anyone else willing to give and test.

Don

DislikedVery cool, Don!
I am a programmer and work at home, sadly not a mt4 programmer. but i am testing multiple things on Orest's EA, and on yours I am testing trading your indicator with Fibonacci lines, and having some good results.
Now I have your back test indicator up as well, its very nice. Lots of good info.
What I was hoping to be able to do was to extend your lines in the BuysVsSells indicator back a few weeks or months if possible, so i can test my ideas. any chance you can make that weeks back option work so i can put in say 5 weeks...Ignored
