hm, could work out, I am just worried that gbp/usd had such a run lately, that it needs a little bit of a retracement. I am eye-balling 1.59 for the retracement.

Indeed, PIP DAWG,....in fact, that is exactly where the bearish run began in the EUR/USD..the 1.38000. Did you keep yourself in the trade or did you got out early like you did with eur/cad? Hahaha.

(okay, okay, i promise, after this week, i will stop talking about your eur/cad touch trade at 1.4750 that you got out of for just only + 40 pips!)

NZD/JPY short. H4/H1. hey, maybe NZD/USD h4/h1 will join the party later too... probably all waiting for 7PM US est time. the NZD retail data didnt push anything down...oh well.

I thought the retail would move it more than that. But any way I am still waiting for it to bust a move. It is hanging around the retracement line now, so I guess we will see when Asia wakes up.

With all the US news coming out tomorrow we might be waiting a while for the NZDUSD to do anything....

Actually, I think it was 30 pips but whose counting? I have not even been able to trade since I looked at those pictures of those twins you posted and burned my eyes.

Hi all,

I'm currently short on the NZD/USD pair, I've attached a pic of the chart on my live account.


Trade Idea:

sell 2 lots @ 0.7000
stop @ 0.0750
1st target @ 0.6895, then trail second lot using fractals.


Anyone else shorting this pair?

I am looking to go short, but I am not real sure at the moment how much I trust this pair until I get a good signal, this could shoot up a like a rocket, it has been acting kind of strange the last couple of days. It is not wanting to get to far away from that retracement line..and that kind of makes me think there is still some uncertainty in which way the big dogs want to take this pair.

At 1 hour chart seems to be signal to be short... breakout and divergence... I´m taking a short position right now... SL 0.7035... targeting 1st 0.6900, 2nd 0.6820, 3st... open...

I need to have it clear the pullback first, a break of a trend line is not enough for me to get in there. But right now I am just not seeing any momentum in this pair it is kind of undecided at the moment.

Profited 100+ pips this week.. Achieved target on Wednesday.

Seems like market is uncertain with the Greece fiasco.. I see a lot of intervention major drops here and there.

Is it ok to stay off the market once I met my weekly target? Especially with all the uncertainty going on now..?

ONe thing about staying out of the market, is can never go against you...good job on the 100 pips..

Thanks NM.. its one thing follow the tutorials, but to see how people discuss it in real time is what makes it a good learning experience for me. Kudos for creating this thread and keeping it alive.

There is some pretty tough support it is trying to bust through and it is not having a good time trying to get to the other side...just like deer crossing the road...always have to be on the other side...

I am completely saddened with this market there should be no reason to be paying attention to Greece when in the US we have plenty of states in the same situation. My state is one of the worst.

Its always nice to see happy customers...LOL, this thread has been pretty active since I started it, we have some good traders in here sharing their thoughts and wisdoms, and there has been some really good ideas and techniques brought forward by some pretty intelligent traders.
