I am not by nature an overly suspicious person. But I guess I'd have to say I would be surprised if at the source of the price data "feeds" there was not some filtering and slicing and dicing going on, to some extent, to suit the purposes of the "feeds" owners. At the same time, I am open to the idea that recurrent waveforms in price are a "natural" phenomenon.

I am by nature a problem solver. My take on the various aspects of "technical analysis" that one finds discussed on these forums is that they are generally rudimentary. Sure, some or all of them have their grains of truth and may be all a disciplined trader needs to make a killing. Shit I make tons of cash and I have no real method at all. But I will keep digging.

The Plains Indian braves used to periodically offer up a finger joint to the Creator, to keep them in good shape spiritually and all, and by the time they were old men most of them were missing all of several fingers on both hands. You really only need your bowstring & trigger fingers, thumb & couple fingers for the grip, everything else is extry.

Funny thing is it would probably only take 1 day to fix the issue if I knew there was a possibility of a second.

Well a loss that you really feel is a gift. I don't really believe that "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger." is often true, but it can be true here in this game. I spend most of the time I am trading thinking about all the mistakes I have made, especially the big ones, and reminding myself by god not to do those again. Avoidance of mistakes becomes a habit.

Well I am off to the gym, need to sweat & clear my head before I hit the waves again.

hey way to be way to shoot way to score champ.

I'd be happy to range trade that AUD/NZD if somebody would spot me a 2 pip spread on it....

I had just finished entering a sell stop on EURAUD and within 2 minutes it triggered. Since it moved so fast and is up about 85 pips I went ahead and moved the stop to break even. I normally won't but spiky moves like that tend to rebound.

Been a fun week so far. Several trades closed out by hitting the stops so I only have 4 open right now. I have 12 buy or sell stops open waiting to be hit to get back into trades.

The beauty of being a microscalper is that the influence of news and rumors doesn't have to be heeded. I can just play the price action & forget the news. Now, of course I talk about & study the news all the time & I trade every red/orange news event and I want whatever edge a knowledge of fundies can give. But I don't necessarily need it. I could be trading cocoa futures price action but I'm in the E/U because it has the lowest spread. Period.

Anyway, I don't trust communist party gossip and even if that shit is true it could be easily trumped by bigmoney moves on the euro. I'd be careful while this european (Greece specifically, for now) sovereign debt mess is up in the air...

Yeah I should have more clear about why i shorted If you look at the daily candlestick its pretty much maxed out with 2 sessions 2 go. I just ran across that article and figured i'd post it. +7 pips so far...looking for about 20

After a huge move I normally find the market goes dead so I don't bother, but thats just me.
