speculation that European countries will come to the aid of the financially stricken Greece has prompted a market rally across the globe. But there are still concerns for the euro.

In Tuesday's trade risk was back on as US equities post strong
rally and investors seem to be relieved that something may soon be done about fiscal debt risk in Greece. AUD
rallied despite a Chinese press report which denies that Australia has secured a large 20 year coal deal with
China. Part of Monday's rally in AUD was attributed to report of a huge Australian coal deal with China. According
to Chinese press China has signed a letter of intent to a 20 year deal to import Australian coal but the deal has
not been finalized. The coal deal is estimated the worth about AUD69bln. In addition the trade appears less
concerned about Monday's rise in Chinese mortgage rates. The rise in Chinese mortgage rates seen as additional
effort to curb lending in China and this could reduce liquidity and demand for global commodities. The impact of
last week's surprise decision by the RBA to hold monetary policy steady appears to be fading.
Last week the RBA unexpectedly elected to hold rate policy steady at 3.75%. The RBA cited recent tightening in China and tame
inflation as the primary rationale for maintaining current level of interest rates in Australia. RBA officials indicate
that interest rates are likely to rise to 4.5% by the end of 2010. CFTC commitment of traders released Friday
showed that AUD spec long positions were at their lowest level since December. The spec positioning AUD
makes the AUD right for fresh demand as many analysts remain long-term positive for the outlook of the AUD.
This week's Australian economic calendar includes the February 10th release of December housing finance
expected 2% compared to -5.6% last month. On February 11th January unemployment and employment growth
will be released. The unemployment rate is expected unchanged at 5.5% with employment growth at 25k
compared to 35.2 last month.
The technical outlook for the AUD is negative as the AUD breaks trend line support. Expect AUD support at 8632
the February 9th low with resistance at 8827 the January 28th high.

I think price will hit your SL,acording my chart,no exit from long,i took 90 pips but fix TP (i wasnt at home)...

i dont trade EUR/NZD, cause the spread is too big for me,
but if it's available on your charts, its between range 2.0 and 1.98 and is at bottom of 4-day range , which "if" it bounces, will can bring weakness to nzd and also aud.

short 87.82

Went Long last Thursday morning at 0.88005. On Friday afternoon it came within 8 pips of my S/L. Did the same thing the week before; went Long then it dropped over 100 pips and almost hit my stop loss and it fought it's way back up only to drop another 100+ in a blink of an eye when the rate was left unchanged. Almost got stopped out again so I doubled my position and I will be damned if the AUD didn't fight it's way back up another time. Made a fairly good profit on that one due to using a T.S. while the it was in a nice little upswing.

I am only in for two lots on this one ( changed my initial entry amount at the beginning of the year from 4 Lots to 2.) But here is where I will make the one mistake that I am having a hard time overcoming if this pair does rise above my basis: after being down big I will jump at the first chance to exit my trade at the very first sign that it will move back against me no matter how small of a profit it is even if all my indicators are telling me otherwise only to find out a day or two later I could have pocketed another 100 pips or so. That is more frustrating than a small loss.

If it hits 0.8825 I will put in a T.S. of 20-25 Pips and just let it ride. Needless to say I have raised my S/L.

yeah but if it wanted to go down it just got the perfect excuse, looks like more upside to me

well, that is why my SL 8810, but longer-term, i think we'll deal with these two levels, and considering down move is always faster, it may not be too long

If price holds up in an hour or so, I will short it at .8780 up to .8795.

If price drops lower, I will pass and move on to another pair for now.
