Does this bot look across all timeframes for confirmation for trade entry?

I looked at the code (which I admit is not my forte ) and it appears to step through each timeframe M1 through D1.

But is confirmation required on all timeframes or a subset of them?

As I recall, and forgive me if my recollection is wrong, your first post here indicated you had been reading the thread.

If you had really been reading the thread, you would already have answered your own question. Actually, if you had even bothered to read post 1 here you would already have answered your own question. There is even a Janet and John user guide written by octomanoak that would have answered your questions had you taken the trouble to read it.

I am not here to help the useless, helpless and dozy to find their way to salvation without any effort on their part. Post one more daft question that proves conclusively that you haven't taken in a single word posted here, and I will stop you posting altogether.

Now, go and do some proper, attentive reading of the basics posted here. It ain't easy, but neither is trading forex. If you want to do something easy, turn on the telly.

My computer time is correct, but the time zone wasn't on Singapore. So, I hope this time it works...I am going to reboot the MT4.

Buy = 20 (H4) Day EMA > 200 (H4) Day EMA and OS in M15 and OS in H1 and OS in H4.

Sell = 20 (H4) Day EMA < 200 (H4) Day EMA and OB in M15 and OB in H1 and OB in H4.

On both it waits until M5 crosses against the retrace or pull back.

Scoob,

The code is trading all currencies if there are no news event pending and RSI's /EMA logic line up. Are you going to let it trade currencies during times where the market is closed for the currencies that enter into OS/OB territory?

FYI guys, I have added my estimation of the value of each robot to the relevant bits of post 1.

Anyone who disagrees with my statements, please sing out. I have based my comments on my own experience but have not given every robot the attention it might have gained in a slower moving thread.

I've been using Trix Meter for some time, but sometimes I am wrong with direction, but take a look at the chart when I combined Trix Meter and the RS Yen Strenght indicator. Look at the red vertical lines. When RS Yen is OS or OB and Trix Meter is showing 3 solid dot boxes, good time to enter either buy or sell.

I still need to observe this phenomenon.

GBPJPY, USDJPY, USDCAD and EURUSD use default attached settings.

GBPUSD unique setting LR.Length = 80

EURJPY unique setting LR.Length = 102 MinLRVal = 45

Quite happy with TCF v2 using optimized settings. It's a selective trader, but when it trades, it appears to be a high probability win - top work Scoobs and Steve.

Check it out, this chart is on AUDUSD 5m using Trix Meter and USD RS strenght indicator. When the RS is OB>90 and Trix Meter shows 3 red boxes, enter on the next candle opening (usually 2 pips below the signaled candle).

You can go one step further probably and see if commodity strength is OS while USD is OB... that would help price move faster.

Hello Steve,

I really would appreciate if you can look at my question for the Original BOJ robot.

Taking as example Tokio opening where taking sell trades as Original Scoobs strategy, and settings 30 or 20 High TF, 10 Lower TF, I understand that it should take the sell trade when on the lower TF the readings are below 10 and start growing to 11, 12, 13 , etc.(also Higher TF below 30 or 20)

But, on the attached image you can see that it took the sell trade when the readings are still getting lower values, ie, 13,12,11,10,9, etc.

I had also see other times where it took the trades with growing readings as should be according to scoobs specification of the strategy.

Can you please check this? I beleive this can reduce drawdown and trade duration on wining trades and also produce lower losses on lossing trades.

Did you get the Buy and Sell mixed up? I solved the local time problem and was hoping to get a buy entrance just now, but I got a sell order. After I solved the lolcal time problem, I restarted MT4 and hoping the buy and sell timing are correct. The entrance timings are correct, but instead of sell, it does buy orders, and instead of buy orders, it does sell orders. Did you get this kind of problems?

I am going to test again. Just reboot the computer to solve this glitch.
