nothing less than 10 pip candle entries - 300 pips range targets $$$$ let's make it

dear Tony,

job well done. Had just tried a little while on this method. Indeed, low SL and high TP. Had a gain of 26pips. 1 hour after London open.

After reading through all the posts, i realised that there is no way for a MT4 indi to be included for this method of trading. Hence, the ability to figure out the 10pip block is ultmost important. Perhaps boxes recognision.

Any seniors here got any trick on this ability?

If you mean the move on London open, I stayed away, simply because the previous hour candle solidified below a support level, thus preventing a strong move up. I was only looking to go short, but only if price would consolidate a bit first, which never happened. Waiting now for news at 4:30 EST.

I just stumbled across your thread as I don't normally read many systems threads, but yours has made me curious, the power of risk/reward ratio is much greater then many people realize, I also noticed this thread was started nearly a year ago and is still going, and active by the thread creator (a very good sign!).

Anyways i just have a few questions, i noticed your first post was edited with new rules, and no link to what page/post this change occurred, so i saw no point to start reading through the whole thread to find the rules changed in the 2 last pages, if you understand what I mean, so please forgive me if it seems I am too lazy to do research and if i ask questions that have already been answered.

I'm just wondering, you said you trade 3am - 10am NY EST. Watching a 5sec chart, this means you'll basically have to be staring at your screen for 7 hours to catch that 10pip bar move. ( which i have no problem with if that is what is required ), but I am wondering how often these setups will occur, and is there specific times within those 7 hours that you will watch extra carefully??

Also, i'm not quite sure on your sl rule, you say stoploss is set at the tip of the bar, but in the picture your sl line is in the middle of a bar? just want to clarify that.

Im interested to start trying this on a demo account, so i look forward to hear your response.

Once a month there is usually a post like yours asking the same questions because the person is too lazy to read the post and do the homework himself. If you're hoping this system is an easy way to make money, you are going to be very disappointed.
It may be a very simple system but it still takes a lot of time to get a feel for it. You will see many 10 pip candles but only certain ones will work out. Knowing how to filter trades is very important and this comes only with screen time and doing your homework.
Best advice I can give you is to read the entire thread.

I've been watching this system on the AUDUSD pair. It does some great price action setups but the 7-10 pip moves do not happen often. If you go down to 5-6 pips after Aus markets open there have been some nice set-ups over the last week. I will post a chart the next time a trade arises.

whenever the price has not touched a psychological level for a LONG time, this is how it reacts very often... the price traveled for about 45 pips after ...

could we add that as a required factor for entries (psychological level-only) + 10 pip 5 sec candle??
