Hi to all!!!!

Want to share my two morning trades with you....

The 1-st one was long. Exit -9 because of price stalling at the level and the next coming first down push...

The 2-nd was FCR2 (death reversal) trade. I did hold it as long as I did can...
Closed - because of speed at up-moving candles, and the price was already near my half profit numbers... Sc2 in play.

Did not enter the long, because did not see properly FCR (U or V form) to take... Did not want to based my long trade only on speed... Did want to see something good for taking (like fcr, or 123)....

I see now - I did miss a great reversal to long side....

But, as I said now - I did not see for me a clear FCR or 123.... May be there was one very little fcr2, but not very clear, at least for me...

I will put a small position and take the pull with you, if we get one. I did a pull trade yesterday but on other pair, not EURUSD that`s why I didnt post it (It felt like cheating but I just couldnt resist it ), . It worked like charm, exactly like you described it.

It took me 2 weeks , but when I started we were at page 700. So if you devote yourself you should be done in three weeks I think. Of course once you are finished, you will want to go back to page 1, and do it all over again. But it is totally worth it, I guarantee you, and most of all it is fun.There are posts that gives you link to the most important subjects of the plan, and its great if you start with that, but it is no substitute for reading the whole thread.

Question to brother Fxa!

I was in short trade (the last in my chart). Momentum was good for bears.
Every attempt down was a little stronger than up. The whole picture said me - this is the time to aply SC1, #1 play. And I was ready to give time and room for level-line battle. So - suddenly price did break level to up-side, and with something more momentum than was early to up-side. Nothing new for me - very often when price comes close to level, it gets some momentum.

After that - (already above level) price did move another attempt to up with momentum again. My mental SL was hit (because of pips-numbers and momentum too of course).

It was clear for me now - I did miss the clear, early FCR. Ok. My decision. Level-line holding.

But - the question.

After level was breaking to up side with momentum, the second little red candle (bearish) did show a very slow speed. So - rhytm was - HI-speed at bull's candle; LOW-speed at bearish candle. And that little bearish candle almost hit the price-quote where I would enter if I would enter this long.

So - is it wise enough, if level-line-holding battle is ending for now, and we see a clear nice-forming FCR, and bullish Rhytm, to take this long not in the time of level breaking, but some later, when 2-nd or 3-rd candle retrace and hit price-quote, at which we would have to enter???????


I understand - here is a lot of discussions about this particular question... but I just ask because of some concrete (like this one) scenario of battle.

very nice trades you make this morning. I especially like the second trade, very nicely reading of the market.

I looked at you drawing above and have 2 questions, maybe you can answer them?

1. I also was short in the same place, but I read this as a fcr1 with 2#, so I did not close until stop was hit (reduced size because of the distance). Did you see this as something else, maybe a 1-2-3S

and

2. Long entry for me would be where I draw the green line, except that I did not take because going for lunch. Is this the same place for your long entry or is your entry at the yellow line.

I have taken you drawing and added some words, so I hope you can see what I mean more clearly,

Ah, if you do nothing else with your life, read all of this thread.
It is the best drama, the most worthwhile life-coaching, full of superior insight and just a leviathan story. The way teh SYstem has developed becomes so evident through the entire story. If you miss out anything you will have holes in your understanding. The principles are simple, but the execution and sub-structure of this trading philosophy (not a system at all) are so subtle. What about short trade - yes - it was 123S for me, because initial move down was 30 pips. For this trades we usually use #2 def. play.
What about this particular trade - by #2 we should loss no more than 15 pips. If I add 3 pips below level (my entery point) and pips from level to that high (3686) I get more than 15 pips - 17 pips distance. This is at first.
At second - we are trading not like robots... some more flexible - because we are real-time traders, and not EA-traders. So - we pay very lot of attention to the momentum, price speed. This is one of our best weapon in our trading life... So - the momentum observation tells me - there was a reversal here. It was obvious for me that reversal was above 3673 level.

The level, which you shows like enter for long is something "not very fresh", more risky, not the early entery (EE). Usually I do not like to take those trades if there were the more fresh entery signal. So in this particular situation - I also did not like to take long from the not so fresh signal.
If we would have only 123 entery (like for previous short) - I would take it of course.... but here.... it was here the more fresh entery.

So the question in whole is - is it wise to take this long, based on observation that in Momentum we have totall reversal - from the breaking level, when price comes to it again for some seconds... ???????
