DislikedOk, I will attempt to answer the question although I wasn't here when all the action happened (was away at work)
Looking at the chart, it looks like we have a SF, therefore #1 Play was used. We know that #1 play is a offensive/preserving strategy. With the SF, I believe Fxa would have placed his mental stop 5 pips behind the LV with the hard stop a little bit further back. So when the PA tested the 5 pips mental stop line, it wasn't a real threat and the line held. Fxa was willing to give the battle at the LV a good fight as a battle won there...Ignored
I would like to test my thinking process here with this quiz from the Master....
After a move up, price made a FCR1 to the downside, that once broken, began to hesitate a little bit to go down...
As far as it is a FCR1, and we are not risking more than 15 pips placing safetly our Stop Loss above the fractal. It worths give price some room to let it show his real colors...... and play the appropriate #2 move as our defensive play... I think it is all about Risk management here....Ignored
