If I were you, I would have left 50% open for it to run to the last swing low. Then your R:R is definitely not bad. For such trades with the trend it's good to take off 50% pretty fast and then move stop to b/e and let the rest run to your next target (maybe last swing low) or even further.

That's a good idea. When taking these touch trades with the trend it makes sense to give them a chance to run a bit further. I'll defo add this into the strategy for the next one, thanks.

Yeah USDCHF was a great touch trade opportunity too. 50% fib was pretty much bang on the 1.0500 level.

AUD/CAD short triggered. 0.9370. Selling 1/2 at 0.9355. but not moving SL to BE. i will leave SL where it is(there is a potential bounce off 0.9350 area...i want to see if it breaks. the rest of the lot at 0.9310.

Wow! that was fast! Very fast! Already closed 1/2 at 1.3910. Moved the rest to BE + 1.

I got in the EU at 3935 I am going to half out at 3907, and move to +1 and let the rest run the gammit.

I will have to do a little digging for it but basically what I did was get into the trade when it broke the counter trendline right at a round number. Even though the trendline was broken the round numbers gave support and it bounced there. I think was EntropyLad that told me that you should always wait for the BPC when on the round numbers when you are close like that. I agree with him and from now on I'm really keeping an eye on those RN"s. Let the price break the RN's and give you the BPC.

I did pretty much the same here, half out already, that is the way trades are supposed to work...we are really close to the ADR right now hopefully this will continue. I almost did not take the trade because of the R:R based on the ADR, but it looked promising so I took it.

I am running the same as a paper trade, entry 13936...

Looks like I am getting the entries right, now working on the patience to wait out ride to the TP's...

In hindsight, once the SL is to BE on other trade, suppose "over exposure" is eliminated?

Yes becareful about that over exposure with multiple trades, that can get you in a bad situation. I use the core equity method to keep me from doing that.

Hi guys n gals,

Just wondering about your thoughts on the e/u trade (4h/1h)...

IMHO i see it as a intraweek swing, so my thought process is to set TP1 around the low of the previous swing low (1,3866 ish) and the flag pole taking 80% of the move and setting TP2 around 1,3742 ish...

Ive seen how you guys are setting TP1 around 1,3900 and TP2 around 1,38660.

May i ask your guys thoughts on this please?

Today, for example similar tradings setup comes up in AUD/USD, EUR/USD, in other to prevent overexposure, you dont want to take the same trade. But at the same time, which one should you take? Custos and I discussed this problem before, and the best solution we could come up with was this:
