if you are trading you should understand some basics, if you got 0.8915 on the chart that is the bid which you sell @ and the ask was 2 pips (spread) higher - the buy price

And i'll back this chart up with a Chart of Gold with some pretty decending triangles on the H4 chart.

But i'll also be keeping a firm eye on the ADP Non-Farm Employment Change soon. If the US gets good news or possibily even as forcasted, i see a 90% chance of AUD heading down.

The high is based on the highest last bid price filled so if you had a buy limit order at .8915, and it was filled then the ask was probably somewhere around .8917 with the bid at .8915. Now the person in this example that had a limit order at .8917 would not have gotten their order filled. The Spread is the difference between the Bid and Ask and is only an issue when you place Market orders. When you place a limit order that is the only price you will take to do the trade. Don't know if that helps?

Anyone see what I'm seeing here on the 30m chart ?? next run up should get us to about 0.8925 - 0.8930

No, i don't see what your seeing.
Maybe you should draw it out for us.

Are you trying to say its going to head up to 89.30 and then from there its all the way down or are you saying it will head up to 89.30 and the it will continue to go up but your going to scalp 20-odd pips from a short?

Cos i don't understand whether your bullish or bearish and what length of TF your refering to, cos according to your past post your bearish cos you shorted at 88.25?

do all the broker charts show the high when the highest bid order is filled? or do some brokers show when the highest ask order is filled?

If there is good news with Employment AUD will shoot up. Good news = more risk, higher DOW/ S&P/ Gold.

Well, I just filled that NZDUSD short, now looking to fill my AUD order so while we all discuss going up to .8925+ can I just get this second short filled first .

Yes it should head back up to 0.8925 - 0.8930 then back down , I haven't shorted yet I said I'm looking to short at 0.8925

Hi Ducci,

Yes that usually works well for me but I make a very stupid and fundamental mistake of involving my emotions and as a result I end up on losing side.

If only I stick to my planned trades based on my charts, I would be making a lot of pips...

But I am slowly slowly getting there.
