DislikedMoved my stop on N/U to 7080 (just below the PPZ area) and moved stop on U/C to 1.0630 - as indicated by the arrows.
I am also long EU from 1.3922 so watching these closely with 3 x USD correlated positions.
Also have long position on AUD / JPY @ 80.05 (daily PPZ and trendline bounce)Ignored
DislikedI pressume that you are talking about a long trade (retrace after hitting PPZ). In this case where would you place to TP?

DislikedHeya Mike,
I was reading something by Rainmaker lately that I related to heaps. I think it was on the beliefs vs trading thread he started in May09.
In a nutshell, he was quoting SP, who said,
"What I want to do, and what I´ve found I´m good at doing, are 2 very different things."Ignored
Dislikedi also opened long on AJ at 80.45 after breaking TBH, i will set TP to 82, that is 38% last down move. SL at 79.85, under PPZ.

DislikedNo Nathan he won't cause these TIPS traders simply can't.
Why would he believe a 22 year old freak watching weird lines all day, rather then listening to people who are in the industry and are well informed.Ignored

DislikedHey Jeremy
I stick to the same timeframe I am taking the trade on. In my view you can see everything you need from that timeframe to make the proper decisions.

Jim is not a Forex Jesus, but I did see him heal several traders of over trading, too much risk, indicators and of course he has healed everyone of liberalism....

DislikedMy entry was 80.00, stop @ 78.60, take profit @ 83.00 - risk 1%
Personally I only use 61.% fib and the 50%.
All the best with your trade.Ignored
Dislikedso you entered with "feelings" that it rebouncing from PPZ, right? or you found some PA to support your decision?
i'm on demo with that, still testing, so i was waiting for any PA to support my "feelings"
all the best for you too, mate.Ignored
DislikedYes a long trade after hitting PPZ and round number.
I didn't take the trade as have enough trades open at the moment and the speed of the move to hit the PPZ would concern me slightly. - Trading a bouce of a PPZ area without other confirming factors like price action is higher risk remember.
If I were to trade it this is what I would do.
1. Entry @ 1.0500
2. Stop @ probably 25/30 pips below entry. You want to leave some room but not too much. Think about what happens @ a round number / PPZ area. There will be buy orders just above the PPZ...Ignored
