For USDCAD trade, I moved my S/L to be when I saw it was stuck with 20pips profit and my BE SL was touch.
It seems it could retrace inside previous bar (maybe 50fib), i'm waiting to enter again on the 50fib or on the re-breakout, what would you consider as the best plan ?
)....it is always easy to know then. Honestly, if you are out at Break-even I wouldn't rush to get in unless you get price action on the 4hr or 1hr telling you to short again. Sure, this could drop and worst case you missed a move but lost nothing. It could also climb north and you saved yourself. I guess I am just saying I would wait for a reason (price action) to get back in vs. just picking a number/fib area. If price action prints at your area then take action.I am still in the trade short and have not moved any stops yet. Once the day is over I will evaluate on moving stops or doing nothing.

Anyone else get the feeling something is about to happen on these pairs one way or the other? They have kind of been meandering along with no real big moves either way today.
Could just be one of those days, but I can almost sense some movement coming.

Hey Ghous can you comment on this IPB, this a stock of a local bank.
I told my Brother in law yesterday (at that time this IPB was't formed) to buy it at the red line.
He preferred to believe some TIP he was given by a fund manager. ( and that stock did not moved)
No Nathan he won't cause theses TIPS traders simply can't.
Why would he believe a 22 year old freak watching weird lines all day, rather then listening to people who are in the industry and are well informed.

As for books, the only real technical book I think worth getting is Pring on your list. Van tharp is great for things like expectancy and understanding more about trading(not necessarily from a technical standpoint). I would add 'trading in the zone' to that list and some of my other favorites are the Market Wizard books by schwager and Reminiscences of a Stock operator is a must read. The others IMO aren't really worth it maybe to get a more general understanding on some basic TA concept murphys book. But again, if you can find it at your library sure read it. Babypips "school" is a great thing to go through, and then starting from page 1 here you can't go wrong . As for the j16 site, you can pay and come and go as you please, we have a little bit of everything. But don't even think about that now. Spend at least 3-4 months in this thread there is so much material and you can see where you are at that point and if it is something that still interests you of course we would love to have ya. Really you have a lot to take on at this point just jump in and grab a coffee
