Good morning to all,

I am a bit confused with the # of pages that we are on atm... If you have your pages set up for 10 post per page then I would be on page 1488 ..if I set it for the next option which is 20 post per page then I would be on page 744. So... what page are you guys on? I do not want to miss the opportunity to honor Feb with all of you.

Feb and Fxachilies, thanks for this great thread. I'm following almost daily the thread (unfortunately I still have an 800 pages backlog. Arrived at page 190).

I am trying to consider System II as a methodology or better a framework and work on it to adapt to my trading style. I threw away all the indis I was used to have on my terminal. Now I feel more relaxed and act promptly. Before I had to align all the indicators, MAs, take some Xanax before taking a trade, lol. Now I wash and rinse.

Thanks Feb. You are a generous man, a great teacher and of course a great trader.

Thanks to Fxachilies for being so active and responsiveness. I'm learning a lot from your examples and comments. You are doing a great job ! Please keep up the good work !

Hope this thread will live for a long time. Next TP sould be 10000 pages. OK ?

Have a question for you guys. Doese anyone use System II during the Asia session on other pairs like USD/JPY, EUR/JPY ? Normally there are not so many opportunities but sometimes it happens to see some nice fcrs and brackets also on EUR/USD especially at the end of session. Just my curiosity.

Umbro

A bit like you Bubola...... I made 3 trades today on a day lacking any price energy.

Trade 1 - break of a small range lower, closed -12. I suspect this was not closed fast enough.
Trade 2 - break of a single point higher, closed -12. I am not sure if this is a valid System 2 trade. The reason is that is it NOT

  1. a range
  2. a fcr
  3. a 1-2-3

and so, I suspect it is not a valid entry point. Would do others think?
At this point, I waited for a better setup to appear, and then I stopped trading until NY session.
Trade 3 - a small 1-2-3 short after USD news for -6 that did not make it past the fcr close by.

What do people think about trade 2? I think it was not a valid entry for the reasons I described.

Hi Bubola,
What a day huh ?
It is better for you to have lost just from 3 trades.
I had 7 trades, all with variety lost and chicken attitude goin.

Can you tell me what holding you to further trade after that lost ?
As I know, Feb told us to continue our trade of the day until our max lost is reached.

Thank you

Can't help thinking I could be tighter with these bb's. Seems to me that if a bb is going to work for you it will normally move at least 20 pips within a couple of bars of breaking the level line. If this doesn't happen but it retraces past the level line then I should bail out immediately.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

I think I've just described 2g+ to myself...doh!

guys this was the prime reason of me bringing in G+ exit to my world and make them fit to appropriate entery setup...
it took a lot of time and spilled blood in my part to know if it would have been a good addition in the long run or not..

sometimes G+ will lead you to bail early and miss the runner or getting in with reenteries later on into a move.. but i have paid the price both ways and found out after some reall bigtime forward Testing that your outcome will come ahead with G+ in the long run.. not to mention that it does major psychological difference in your trading day...

this is prime example of, if you would have left this up to the market or Play #2 or HOPING it will turn around and later PRAYING for a BE exit chance or minor loss exit.. you would have been doomed by now probably close this for much much bigger loss.

so live example of how we become winners even when we lose..

stick with me more better things are on the way..

yes.. here is my advice..

forget all that analogies.

just train your naked eye by watching the PRICE..
Momentum: speed.. rhythm.
... and stick to the plan.. bcz the plan is build aroung this a few words.. i just have managed to simplify it in words, so for everybody and myself we can act accordingly in the heat of the battle promptly..
thats it..

Great...thanks Fxachilies. I'm in love with a beautiful thing..she's called 2g+. Keep it quiet...don't want #2 & #1 to find out that I sometimes cheat on them.

Saw this forming but didn't take it...I was put off by the strength of the retrace from the level line at 1.3925. Irrespective of what happens from here, going over my notes I can see I was massively wrong....heat of the battle and all that. This is a valid fcr2 (with a double bottom), good momentum, with 2g+ to protect us.

Kicking myself. Another lesson learnt.
