MB Trading Futures - Introduction

Hi Justin,
I've got 2 MT4 questions:
1) If I try to put an expiration time on an order, I get error 147: 'expirations denied by broker' - Did you guys disable the expiration function?

2) If I get a partial fill, I noticed that I get a new order number. So with MBT it looks like my EA will have to track open orders by using the magic number rather than the opening order number. Is that correct?

The software for mobile is built using WAP technology, so it should run on iPhone or any other SmartPhone.

1) ECN only accepts GTC
2) Correct on the magic number
GTC as well as IOC, if i'm not mistaken.

I've been with MB for about 6 years and I'm considering switching to the MT4 platform. I've been using an indicator that only shows the grid on the 00's...like 1.4200. It lets you hone in on those psychological support and resistance levels. It lets you see them clearly. I believe it does not work because you guys have an extra digit...5 decimal places rather than 4 and my indicator won't work. It's a little difficult to watch for those 00's on the chart with the extra digit. My question is this....I know you have a university forum...will your programmers help me tweak the code in my indicator so that it will work with the additional decimal places? I don't think it will be difficult, it's just that I'm not inclined to learn a programming language.

Hi Justin.. Quick question about ACH transfers. I remember seeing something about a 5K limit on deposits/withdrawals per month, but I can't find this info anymore. Is there a limit to how much I can deposit/withdraw in a month using ACH?

i am a bit confused though, it says 1/10 pip dose that means 0.1 pip?
Another question, Justin. Any idea if MB is planning on allowing accounts in currencies other than USD and EUR? I'd love to see the other majors and gold and silver (with a small haircur if necessary). I know that a lot of other brokers (haven't seen one in spot fx) have started accepting gold and silver.

Thank you so much. I'm switching to the MT4 platform with MB Trading and I was bummed that my round numbers did not work. It is so much easier to see the the RN indicator on the MT4 charts. I guess it was the 5th decimal throwing it off.

Not sure. Currently only USD and EUR. Accounts in other currencies are in the works.

I already have opened an account before EUR was available, but so far didn't have a reply. Any developments regarding that matter?
