Very good post!! Been there many times...

I just managed to get online again...massive thunderstorm here last night so connections still not great...
I had stop and reverse at 85....tried to post but couldnt get online...
Looking like its moving in a bit of a bracket right now...

Thanks. I guess it's a journey we all need to take till it hurts so much that it sticks in our mind!!! Lol! I am loving every minute of it though. It's turning me into a better trader for it.

Yes, I agree the fcr set-up I posted earlier is starting to look more like a bracket now.

Nice long bracket leading into London, long 4028, short at 4004, playing some tight defense for both orders

Same orders with you. Let's kick some ass ! We need to get back what we left on the table Asia session. I calculated I lost out around +50 pips for my mistakes (not moving SL to that fcr and not taking on the reverse trade from that same fcr). Well mistakes can only make one stronger, that is if we learn from it!

Yes it's been a rough night ! Well it actually should have been sweet but I f--ked up, lol! Expensive lessons but it sure is sticking into my brain (what's left of it! lol). A few more expensive mistakes like this, I think it will be forever engraved in my brain. Behaviour modification is a costly and painful exercise, lol!

Just taken the short at 1.4004 off the bracket break. Been a tight bracket for some time...could be fun!

1.-Trading for revenge is not usually a good practise. In poker, they use to say that money on the table belongs to nobody. So it was never yours. Forget about it. And...

2.- WASH, RINSE... REPEAT.

Point taken. I wouldn't trade for revenge, been there, done it and have big battle scars to show for it ! I was just jesting when I said "kick ass" , lol. But thank you for bringing it uo because we do need to be reminded once in a while to re-inforce good trader mindset.

Also that bit about what I left behind (50+)was only a self reminder of my mistakes of not sticking to plan. It's just my perverse way of behaviour modification ie keep reminding myself of it, lol.

I am now out of my short trade from 4014. My SL was finally taken out at BE after all the fear, hoping & praying!!! Sounds familiar, doesn't it ? Well, Mr Market just don't care about all the hope and prayers you throw at it. It will do what it wants to do!

Ok, the purpose of this post is to highlight my mistakes, as a self reminder and also to help you guys from doing the same.

My mistakes....
I did not move my SL to above the fcr formed @ 3980 (3983). That would have saved me going through all...
I appreciated this post greatly by our friend Baku.. pure honesty, i for one admire that. this morning you got one more step closer to the mountain fog.

there are some key issues there.. read it and take notes fellas.

thats ok Baku.. been there done that manytimes and these were the situations that caused me to come up with differet ways for the plan.. thats what forced me to push myself instead of quitting.. bcz I became obsessed and i had to make it work in some ways.. my way its not like a EA thingy, not much wanted to like that, but it works and once its fully understood and enough experience gained then you will make money at anytime anywere as you wish, bcz its not a "system" that would let you down when market goes to cycles.. all we do is to follow the foot steps of the price in the now moments, with some structure to go with it.

dance the dance and lessen the mis steps then soon enough you will be dancing with the stars.

Thanks brother Fxa for your feedback. I appreciate it very much. I know I still have some issues to resolve with my trading. In an ironic way, all the mistakes that I made in real time live trading is starting make a change in my mindset, slowly but surely in the right direction. And of course with your invaluable guidance & Feb's.
