Well, this trade played out as per my chart. THANKS GEPPYG, I am learning.

The good part is, the chart played out as I expected it to play out.

bad part - I wasn't part of it as I was out on the beach on Australia day :-)

I traded Beach volleyball, cold beers and BBQ in almost perfect weather at Palm Beach for 110 pips...

Well, I reckon it was a decent trade off....

(My Gut feeling something really out of the blue will happen to cable today...an unexpected move...Very very suspicious)

Puks when you look at charts time and time again you start seeing price ACTIVE Moves and this helps so much i predicting the next movement...

Even if they do not workout or go against you ....you dont feel the pain of the loss..

If you seriously want my advice..and want to go live concentrate in the following format..

A.Chart
B. Show the trade on the chart
C. Rate you trade
D. Is it a one touch or not...

Did you know just of one touch traders one of my partners make 400 pips a month a cross 6 pairs...and most of his trades finish in less than 15 mins..

If you can make 1200 pips in the next month starting from tommorow ie
average 400 in 3 months that would be an achievement in itself...Is it possible it is very easy just need patience and the time to chart...

You know that every single one touch I have mentioned has worked out 9/10 times

ie you need just 10 one touch trades for 10 pips each and that is you 100 pips a week the rest of the pips will come from swing trades other than that no entries at all..

Hope all this makes sense.

just FYI I have posted this before...re the EURCHF Trade I have cancelled that order and am awaiting confirmation...

But the risk reward is still very good...

Hi mate,

Thanks once again for your valuable advise.

Based on one-touch theory, please see below my Aussie daily chart.

what I see is following.

- Downward channel is in progress on 4H chart with UTL coming in at about .9050
- Since we've penetrated .8950, a further downside is possible towards an important psych & 00 level at .8900 which has acted as minor S/R in past.
- AUD has bounced off that level 3 times in past
- so if we happen to see more downside in US session, we should see a "first touch trade" in place at .8910-20.
- Further downside "should" be capped as market may not want to be short AUD with CPI data due in less than 12 hours.

I am going to bed but I will have two orders in place before I do so.

a) Limit buy .8912, TP - .8927 and S/L .8890
b) Sell limit at .9050, TP - .9030, S/L .9180

Things missing:
1LTL and UTL...
Other than that seems good for one touch...
I will start your pip counter on this thread ..lol

I have started making a trading journal and if it works out to be good, will send you details.

On a serious note, I am serious about this market and intending to do so on a long term basis.

We are no bouncing off a very weak support ie 0.8943...

I would still prefer to wait for 9015 and lower to go long...

Hi

I did my homework and would like your help to see whether did I understand the chart correct. I hope you can give me some advice.

Based on my 4H chart
1. the daily high is 0.9092
2. daily low is 0.8945, however it did not break thru and stayed in 0.8960s -0.8950s range.

The R1 is 0.9214 and R2 0.9328
The S1 is 0.8847 and S2 0.8733
Range Pivot 0.9030

Based on my chart,
I will should long at 0.9101 and TP at 0.9214 and
short at 0.8940 TP at 0.8847

As for swing, it will between 0.9100 -0.8950

Am I doing correct?

Sorry,...

Long: Break Through Resistance
4H chart break through, and close above 0.9160
Long: Buy Test Of Support 4H chart drop to, and then close above 0.9010

Short: Break Through Support and close under 0.8970
Short: Sell Test Of Resistance
4H chart up to, and then close under 0.9125

I am not having a dig or trying to be smart ...
But a number of traders were long between 8950 and 9000 with a stop at 8943.. The stop was correct as they had to use the proper money mangement..Why did there trade fail .

A. Wrong Entry.
B. 4 Hour Candle closed below the lower Trend line
c. 1 hour Candle closed below the lower Trend line
D. Dollar index was bouncing near support
E. Gold Was falling rapidly since this morning

F. They had a chance to come out of the trade and enter at a better price..
Tip .When the 4 hour candle is about to close we always see a spike into a higher value...and it did exactly that time to get out of the trade...

In 24 hours I have had 2 Aussie trades yielding me a total of 130 pips..
This i from 2 trades..
One swing and on one touch trade..

I am waiting for direction ie news at 3:00 to make a decision to trade...

I am no genius ...Just trying to help traders realise the importance of an entry is more important than a stop loss or take profit level...
Treat a trade like you have bought a product...
It has to be of uttmost importance..I really hope I can be of benefit to you rather than a egoistic trader...( Trust me I have been there and really wish I had someone to learn from when I was trading back in the day would have saved me so much money)

I have been a member here and am a member of a lot other forums..
Only as as of late have I been posting so much again as ..I can see a lot of trader are making unbelivable mistakes....

I hate calls like I am long now and am short now....for no logical reason...as this is the road to disaster...

People on cable and aud thread claim to be making at least on average 50 pips a day in return that means they are making a 1000 pips...Which is complete BS....

My Average pip month is about 600 pips.. some months are better some bad...So how do you do it...

I mainly trade swing and one touch trades...
My sunday Analysis ie weekly bar gives me my swing trade
And I do extreme PA with one touch trades..
If you have not got a stratergy of your own or a proven stratergy....wait untill you are comfortable to go full time....

Thats enough from me....
Please feel free to post and explain your post trust me a post and a chart would be worth a lot of money....

Current Status of AUD....
1. Do you see plotting of any indicators...NO
2. Do I care about fundamentals or so called funnymentals...No

Price Action gives me the pips and also I have learnt volume analysis from Malcomb which gives me and edge of determining the actual entry...
