Trade History to XLS

Is there a way to import trade history to excel ?

hey sam..... an easy way is to first create a detailed report.... then select/highlight and copy all the information...... paste that directly into excel...... you might have to do the chart and summary totals in 2 additional steps.... or at least i have to.......

for a professional look, i have something from i believe tim hiachiever...... it produces absolutely beautiful excel layouts.... multicolored pie charts of all pairs showing profit loss and much much more...... it's truely unbeliveable..... the only drawback is you'd have to get it from him........

and you should be able to import the same thing, minus the graph by using the detailed statements address, in my case, C:UsershayseedDesktopm1 22.htm.........h

hey sam..... today is the last day of deer season here ..... it's cold and they ain't movin....... so having time , been giving your mq4 to excel some more thought.....

we could also easily write a expert advisor to write any and all info to excell... we could limit it to pair or pairs or particular period of time....

maybe your handy with excel, i'm not..... it's not something i use....

if you don't mind, what sort of infomation are you trying to derive from excel.....

we should be able to write the ea and some sort of excel deal to match.....h

got the ea written.....

also included a 'gee whiz' tick collector function that will create tick files on any or all pairs from a single chart.... the size of those indvidual files would quickly become a burden..... my thoughts were more along the line of collect ticks only for small specfified times, market open, london open and such.... it's not something i'll be pursuing.... just gee whiz.....


started on the excel end of it..... excel is not my forte.... and to be perfectly honest, this is my first....

using excel 2010 if it matters..... not sure what sort of info we should be interested in or how we should be presenting it..... still workin on it, lists the trades and 2 pie charts so far....

possibly the trades should go on separate sheet so as to give us more room......h
