I just had this happen, I put TCF onto a chart, with the trading hours set, the EA fired off a trade then saw that it was out of trading hours and shutdown, I presume it doesn't manage the trade once its outside the hours.

So do we need a "wait" time like in the KG robots, and also what will happen if there is a trade open when the stop trading time approaches?

On multi my results have been balanced nicely so far. I havent checked after this massive movement in the market just now. So far no profit- no loss. Both ways traded equally.

p.s. Of course it makes my broker very happy.

The attached chart shows M1 for the EURJPY for the past 2 hours or so. The RSI is from H1 with a period of 2. I put vertical lines on the candles where the <30, <20, and <10 RSI levels were breached - where the 3 trades would be taken.

If this is per the entry rules, then this is the type of trade that is concerning.

You need to look at the RSI for M15, 1H and 4H combined before entering a trade.

Also, the usual economic news filters should apply.

Looking at the M15, H1, and H4 RSIs would have made a very small difference to the entries.

Ok, then the TCF method should probably be updated to add the 3 Timeframe RSIs and the "usual economic news filters".

but should it not be :

BUY or GO LONG

- EURCHF OS in 15M, 1H and 4H
- Lots = AccountBalance() / 20000
- Buy EURCHF, Buy EURUSD, Sell USDCHF
- Close when AccountProfit > (Base.Lots*100)

SELL or GO SHORT

- EURCHF OB in 15M, 1H and 4H
- Lots = AccountBalance() / 20000
- Sell EURCHF, Sell EURUSD, Buy USDCHF
- Close when AccountProfit > (Base.Lots*100)


My logic say USDCHF goes the oposite way compared to EURUSD (see my screen)
On your example if you had a Sell USDCHF then it would be in positive and not minus -307 $

I tested this setup (my version) on Demo and had 3 of 3 winners !!

That was pure luck.

EURUSD and USDCHF are negatively correlated, so you should BUY them both.

With this method you should always nearly have 2+ and 1- trades allowing you to hit TP.

Hi Scoobs / Steve. I'm a new trader, and this is my first post at FF. Last year, I followed the KG Relative strength threads; after being away for a few months, I became addicted to this thread, as it has allowed me a great opportunity to learn. I've read the thread at least twice, and continue to test all the EA's from page one.

I'm amazed at how generous both of you are with your time and energy, so my first order of business is to offer a heartfelt thanks. Please note that I'm not shy to work hard; you will not get "lazy questions" from me, as I'm more motivated to look for answers by myself instead of asking questions about items already discussed in the thread. My goal is to learn, become a decent trader, and give back. I may be a rookie, but I'm determined it won't be for long. Again, thank you both for all the contributions so far, and also for all of what the future may hold.
