Yeah it's been 27 pips for the last few hours. I have taken 2 shots so far this morning. 2nd shot still running but it's just not dropping (yet). Mr. Market is playing hard to get.

guys..
we are in 50 pips range since yesterday and inside a 30 pips range today..

This Market is FLAT..

123..FCR.. LV.. DT.. DB.. WB..WR.. you name it.. they all don't WORTH a CRAP UNITL WE ARE OUT OF THIS BITCH..

You can take one shots at each side of the bracket off the open of each session maybe at best!!! thats it..

don't force it guys, when the chop is so obvious.

Thanks FXA. Must admit I have been forcing it a bit. Was going to play the bracket if my second shot inside fails.

boy, did i mess this up!! i was short from 4397, wrote down my "if..then.." and didn't apply it, closed the trade @ 11:10am at + 2. worse still, had to take a tel call and missed the true break. i'm such an ass.

I am staying in. This could be a long runner. Like FXA said, don't be afraid to leave some on the table. I am just going to trail it with the fcr's. If I end up with less, doesn't matter. I am trying to keep a runner mentality here, lol!

Stick to the plan... this baby will give a lot more... you'll have chances to get out at +50 for sure, while keeping you safe from reentries and with all probabilities opened for a big 3 figures one!

Not a good movement, especially bearing in mind that you are building up bad habits (the chicken one). Don't take it bad, friend, but it's just on your own benefit.

Edit: I saw your reply. No probs, we are all learning. Good that you realise it.

Ok, so we had a pretty much straight swing of +60 pips. Now, we are in the perfect world, and in my case I will wait for a retracement and the developing of an FCR, but my tolerance is lesser now in case this comes back with speed and momentum. I will not cash less than 2/3 of this, which doesn't mean to set a Hard SL there at this moment. I will lock up a few ones in case something absolutely out of mind happens (black swan stuff), probably around half of the movement.

Now, once the FCR is developed, if so, I will wait for a new try to lows... this time, as I am in good profit territory, I will not be as tolerant as I would be on a proper #1 play. FX has another approach, probably better, which is go and crush it, and he will probably wait much more time. The important things here are:

1.- You did not panic for having more money (lol) and waited a proper retracement. It will happen for all the sissy boys jumping out of the boat. Fair enough, but we have this market grabbed by you know where and it won't escape so easy.
2.- You apply the tools you already know in order to maximize your profit. This means wait for a try to lows, understand speed and momentum concepts. It's fucking bearish and you are all sold, boys and girls.

Congrats to those sticking to the plan. Financial independence is nearer and nearer...

I am not even looking at my charts now. Helps to keep my mindfree from counting the pips and wanting to bail out, lol. I only look at it occasionally and also I have used my sound alerts (which I posted earlier) to mark out the levels that I think are important with my trade management, eg fcr's, consolidation, etc. I place the sound alert a few pips before the market actually reaches it, so as to give me time to do an assessment of what's going on.
