So with gbp/usd do you guys recommend waiting for some very strong PA signal before shorting, what with the recent false signals? Currently at 50 fib, 365 ema & MACD divergance.

The IBs broke topside and I didn't place a position into the markets considering everything that was against us with it. The power of the double IBs is solid though, and I should have trusted them. I guess it's back to testing in order to get confidence back up on these, with the fact that I couldn't pull the trigger long...

I watched in slight disbelief as price rocketed up. I have had a short bias since 1.5949. It looks now like we will head back and revisit he hallowed ground of 1.65.

I've had a short bias since around 1.63XX too, and I guess that's where the problem was! lol Once she picks up, there's no reason to be looking for shorts until some SOLID PA becomes evident.

Are you going to wait for a retrace back to the inside bar area and catch a long position on the touch? Like the pic I have attached.....

Although GBPUSD going up was a surprise.... it was a nice one for my current live trade....

I won't open a position for either side, long or short, until I see some solid price action. I'll post it if and when I do see something that seems worthwhile. I think Roger may just be spot on when he mentioned the 1.65XX area.

i always shy away from rating setups. simply because each trader will rate the same setup a bit differently.
u can simply refer back to my reply post, & i'll let the others rate this setup for u. (but it's definitely not an 'A' setup, imo)

[to suit your own taste, u can develop your own 'setup ratings' by emulating trades taken by Sirs jarroo & mbqb11 (review their charts & posts), & start from there]

Hey Folks, I'd really want to thank you all for your great efforts and sharing , I'm a very big fan of PA and Fibo levels , However I need to get the strategy rules right on longer terms to catch up with you guyz.
Check the Aussie on the 4H chart looks ST bearish to me.

I think i moved too early to BE because i got stoped without the price actually going too "up" But i entered the trade again and left the computer alone with the J16manager, and im glad to see that the price pierced the 61.8 fibo and the manager took 50%profit and moved SL to BE at 30 pips. I feel happy to see this, is already a victory right? Thanks all the people who keeps posting here and make this happen. Good night. Lets see if price continues advancing down. Ill keep posting

I know we ignore funnymentals - but - CPI is expected to rise to 2.5 in UK today - thats positive for GBP..

Well its bounced now about 4 times at 6400 on the 30m but no juicy looking PA so far

Surely that's subjective as to how much you zoom, I would say only very short is up, otherwise looks sideways.
