I will share it if you still want it but I cannot post it on site. Would cause too much confusion with official versions and too much hassel for LV & Lou G.

Hi, I'm using Renko Live Chart 3.2 as an expert from 2 months on Interbank FX demo. No problem in using offline charts.

Today I have a strange situation: on the offline charts I only see few bars, instead of historical series as usual.

Could you indicate a possible cause of this misfunction?

Hello,

Was wondering if its possible to attach an EA to the offline renko charts so that the EA can trade from that offline chart?

With Renko Live Chart 3.2 you can attach your EA to the offline renko chart, I'm working in this way.

You could try and import more 1minute bars history, then open close and attach EA or maybe increase the MaxBars input (Tools --> Options ---> Charts tab --> Max Bars in Chart)

The bad news is If your broker trades 1, 5, 15, 30 min etc the EA won't trade on the offline 2min and it can't capture the 5 min. I've asked several senior members if they could fix the EA to build a 5min offline but no reply . You can tell when it won't work when the info doesn't appear in the upper left window. You need to trade on a 5 min offline chart, to do this you need to use the script.

No, its ok......EAs do work on offline renko charts.........just that I was using a dud EA to test it out.....

Now, just need a good EA for renkos ?...

An EA needs to be written for trading Renko bars hassle free.

Here are the modes;

renko bars 5 tf offline m2.
checking parameter;rsi blackfeet modded indicator parameter rsipds2,ema2 (2,2).
Range_stop_&reverse alert parameter (range4).

attached is the chart and gif.,

In the range stop reverse alert indicator there are 3 lines one with blue colour,one with red and the signal line is in lawn gree.,

If blue crosses and is below the lawngreen line the trend goes on bull ., whenever the lawngreen(signal line) crosses (full cross) the trend breaks and bear appears.

Like wise if red crosses and is above the lawngreen line the trend goes on bear and whenever the lawngreen signal line crosses (full cross) the trend breaks and bull appears.

USING FRACTALS AS END/EXIT SIGNALS FOR A TREND BREAK.

the indicators and the gif are attached below;

come on fast ., make an EA. can't wait.

Nice, but......doesn't the renko scripts, indi, or EA repaint the past when working with anything more than the 1min TF ? On 5min and above the past looks real good.

Or did you mean renko bars are 5 pip in size ?

Hi witsnpips.,

ok . But one should ask a question after he had checked what is given., he should have checked and asked if something repaints in the given., rsi mods., I agree if it repaints on its arrow indication.,

Moreover repainting is a wrong word in forex b'coz its price that determines its the price movement back and forth., Indicator shows what is exactly happening in the market.
No future prediction can be made by indicators., In all guess works., we filter to an extent possible .

that's why I got to criticize him,No matter about,but he should have checked what is on ., moreover Renko's would not be made if everything is over the traditional sticks.

Think constructive ,everyone in forex ., you,me and cspip, are all in the turbulent wind tracing and trading the right path while sticking to the woods for safety., the woods are the forum., am I right here?

Am I a born foe to cspip,sorry dude. something kinda funny alike with a childhood friend.

Bloody hell man!........was just asking a question and your fault for not being clear enough about what the 5 was in your post? Was it 5 pip box or on the 5 min TF ?

I do know enough about renko and was just commenting about how renkos can repaint the past.........BUT I did say your system looked 'nice'......didn't I? Sheesh....

did u look into the box sizes , and time frame I mentioned., now u look like an adulthood friend., ok.

how about an EA?

I was just wondering if the simple functions like 'Close[]' or 'iClose(...) works the same way for renko as they do for other bars.

I have been having an issue trying to get the EA to open order immediately after three renko blocks of the same color form and the next block is starting.

hi guys

I searched indi to draw renko as background on normal TF chart and could not find it.
If anyone know such thing please let me know.
Anyway I end up creating my own indi based on the logic of renkolivechartv.3.2.
For those who want to see the price chart contained in renko boxes please give it a try.

Anyone willing to program the following.

Modify RLC 3.2 to display in it's own indicator window instead on main chart as a historical bar chart.
Attached is a screen shot with an indicator in position 1 that displays bars from a different system. But gives an idea of the result desired but with only one row of bars

Have you encountered any drawbacks to trading just the fractal signals.

Don't use fractals as a confirmation, it's one of the best lagging indicator., its just another confirmation for ending signals and sometimes it irks.,

The one's that work are the stop and reverse indicator, I think u use lsma_nrp indicator ., it works but I hope in the market it might irk.

I sought orinin to make it over., let me check..
