DislikedI either start at the 100/0 or at the 138.2 and pull to.........

DislikedThose are used in Comapass's method, I know you don't use them. Sorry for the confusion.
I've been studying his, yours and Bobokus's method to see what works best for me.Ignored
Dislikedno. on that my first trade would have been anchoring the 100/0 at the bottom and your 7 whatever level would have been my 61.8. I think you would have yielded about 20 pips which is plenty...using the 61.8 that would have been my first move.

Dislikedwhen in doubt i look to see how price is reacting to the fib in the past.. did it get respect on the dowstroke as well as the uptick.Ignored
DislikedCorrect. Move number one. simple clean and profitable. you would have been done for the day easily. If it didnt yield the amount of cash you are looking for... have patience. It is more important to master a simple trade then to master the whole market.
That little trade... if repeated... will put you into 8 figures before you know it.

Disliked1. As you can see in this chart, I was able to anchor the 100 line to a wick in the down move. Would you consider that "respect on the downstroke" or was that just luck?
2. There were two bodies that respected the 61.8. Do you consider that as confirmation that your fib is placed correctly or are you only looking for respect from the wicks?
3. How would you trade this particular setup? Do you wait for the close of the candle that bounced off the 38.2? Where would you put your SL?
4. I'd be happy with 4 figures at this point.Ignored
DislikedThom,
I pulled a black fib down on the chart looking for a short. Would you have done it that way ?
Price retraced after piercing and one could have pulled a red fib on the way up for a long and made some pips of it. Would you have done that if hedging was an option ?

DislikedIf I was trading that first fib... i would have either done that(probably not) or more then likely... used the retracement fib to get another short entry.. that is a big if though on that fib for me mate.Ignored
